@Tradermayne can you live stream on youtube next time Mayne? i really like having English sub titles when i follow along. thank you for market update KING
I know @Zcash ($ZEC) is having a moment right now and @mert is helping spread the word, but as someone who came into this space and grew up with a diy/punk ethos, it's hard to watch @zooko in this and not want to go harder into it. If I could code, I'd be cypherpunk.
Be Honest
Hyperliquid’s “risk engine” failed the stress test.
$19B in liquidations across the market — and their auto-deleverage system punished winning traders to cover losers.
When ADL activates, you don’t have a DEX… you have a casino managing insolvency.
Aster is the way
With so many users getting wiped do you see the urgency to release some of the tokens for season 3 and lay out a frame work for future drops. I'm a small trader and played it safe and feel completely lucky to have salvaged 1/3 of my account. I'm a huge advocate of HL but todays events were gross. Some rake back keeps the gamblers gambling thus keeping fees high. Appreciate your insight and look forward to seeing your redemption arc.
@CryptoGarga@cryptojeweler@alexmarks3D That is pretty cool. What else would be cool? A BAYC and 100k in Buyins to play all major poker tournaments for the next year representing the Club as the BAYC poker ambassador. Huge opportunity to educate the poker world on becoming a member and what is possible on otherside.
As I sit here drinking my morning coffee on a beautiful Saturday, I thought I'd drop some random market musings.
Bitcoin
I've been bullish for a long time and think we see an explosive leg in the market. With Bitcoin close to ATH's it won't take much for us to send it over the edge and start trending up and to the right.
OG whales sold billions in this range while new money accumulated, resetting the cost base to $100k~ per and the flywheel continues with treasury companies.
Friends haven't asked me if now is a good time to buy yet, so I'll wait for that at $200k to dump on their heads (usually a good indicator that a top is imminent).
Altcoins
The dispersion is undeniable.
There are literally millions of coins.
My criteria is simple:
- Has relative strength on spaghetti for trading ( https://t.co/nGDRIHXu4W )
- Have a good thesis about it
- Very good r/r - e.g. very early
There's really no need to over-complicate it.
I trade four setups consistently these days, and over the past few weeks have experienced up-only P&L thanks to the grace of the market.
Positioning
I don't want to build 100s of positions, and I want to catch rotations by taking profit on trades that have played out.
There is always another trade in these conditions.
Example, with launchcoin we broke a parabola after running it +100%. Then rotated into Aster because it had relative strength and a good setup.
Less is very much more given the dispersion and rotations in the market.
Managing FOMO when you see others win is pretty tough, and having # of position limits as well as sizing and standard risk management will help you.
Your day in the sun will come.
Risk appetite
As the market goes up and to the right, I will adjust my risk appetite massively.
I'll still play breakout trades and spaghetti rotations, sure, but stops will be tight and there will be a point where rotations stop becoming potential swings.
It's important to be mindful of both where you are in terms of euphoria and the market is, and adjust risk accordingly... as they can be very different.
Personally I am close to it, but conscious the market is still strong and bitcoin hasn't even broken out yet.
Assuming it does, it makes sense to still be relatively risk-on.
Final Thoughts
At the end of the day we are all here to make money and have fun.
Try not to lose sight of what's important and burn out staring at a 1 minute chart.
Now, lets get to it...

How I predict crypto price moves (with precision)
This methodology has made me millions.
This isn’t basic TA. It’s apex simulation.
Here’s what I look at outside of TA - where to find it, how to read it, and why it works
Liquidation Maps
Where to find: Coinglass (model 2, symbol not pair. HyperLiquid is a separate one and also important)
How to read: Bright zones = liquidation buildup. Expect possible sweeps before major moves. (Just because bright yellow band exists doesn’t always mean it will be hunted, it must be weighted in context with the rest of the process)
Why: Apex Predators don’t move without victims.
Order Books & Walls
Where to find: Hyperliquid, Binance
How to read: Thick walls = bait more often than protection. If price hovers below a wall the trap is set.
Why: Real support doesn’t advertise itself.
Funding Rates
Where to find: CoinGlass, HyperLiquid
How to read:
Positive & rising = crowd long
Negative & rising = crowd short
Flat = indecision zone = setup brewing
Why: Who’s paying tells you who’s potential prey
Sentiment + Fear & Greed Index
Where to find: Coinglass (I like their model best)
How to read:
Extreme fear = sidelined liquidity
Euphoria = exit liquidity
Why: Apex Predators feast on emotion, not logic.
ETF Flows & Macro News
Sustained net inflows = institutional intent
S-1 updates = catalysts approaching
What macro news events may truly spark risk-on or risk-off sentiment? Is this a buy the rumor, sell the news events? Is this headline simply used as cover to execute the move they already wanted to make or does this actually have a meaningful impact on the world?
Why: Narrative alignment amplifies existing setups.
Apex Intent
Read intent by weighing all other factors, the intent usually reveals itself.
Is this a sweep (liquidation hunt)?
A trap (fakeout)?
Or uncertainty farming (chop)?
Why: The why matters more than the what.
Final Filter: Apex ROI Check
Before trusting any move I ask:
Does it extract max pain?
Does it preserve bullish credibility?
Does it align with cycle timing?
Does it magnetize sidelined capital?
If yes it’s real.
If no it’s bait.
This isn’t a simple price prediction model.
It’s an intent prediction model built to expose the predator behind the price.
🫡 From the depths —
The White Whale 🐋
I'll always be a long term bull, but right now, I'm mainly out of the market.
I'll get interested in some alts once we see more blood.
If we do reclaim 105 before we hit the stink bid zone, I'll accept that I was wrong, and flip back to bull, looking for long set-ups.
