Will be cargo biking up to Shimokitazawa tomorrow for this free showing of Motherload. Apparently there will be some cargo bikes available to check out/test ride. Can’t wait.

BOO!!! It’s Halloween weekend and the scariest thing out there isn’t the drunk hooligans but… car drivers. Well, maybe even scarier is that people see “vehicle murder” as normal and blame pedestrians for being in the streets. #safestreets = #bancars
Think about Car Free/Streets Are For People Day - social bike ride/all welcome ride starting from 17:00 Friday at Gooz on Nihonodori Ride to Tiny’s in Hinodecho for Bicycle Film Fest.

Hey kids watch this stunt team get hit by a car over and over while we tell you about the “rules” and “manners” and have the tag line “scared straight”. One big blame the victim, concerns trolling, stunt spectacular. At least I showed up with my @TheWarOnCars t-shirt.

Can you imagine Shinjuku Tokyo as an urban farm? What if the street was used not to get people from point A to B but for smelling the flowers, tasting the fresh produce, and laughing with each other as we try new experiences. #flyingcarmovement
If this is true… in July alone I saved 53kg of CO2 from cycling around Tokyo. That’s the average weight of a small human, or 10 Jack Russel Terriers, or 53 pineapples. But at that rate it would take over a year to save the same weight as a single average car.
