EVERYONE KNOWS I WOULD NOT SUPPORT A FEDERAL ABORTION BAN, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, AND WOULD, IN FACT, VETO IT, BECAUSE IT IS UP TO THE STATES TO DECIDE BASED ON THE WILL OF THEIR VOTERS (THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE!). LIKE RONALD REAGAN BEFORE ME, I FULLY SUPPORT THE THREE EXCEPTIONS FOR RAPE, INCEST, AND THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER. I DO NOT SUPPORT THE DEMOCRATS RADICAL POSITION OF LATE TERM ABORTION LIKE, AS AN EXAMPLE, IN THE 7TH, 8TH, OR 9TH MONTH OR, IN CASE THERE IS ANY QUESTION, THE POSSIBILITY OF EXECUTION OF THE BABY AFTER BIRTH. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!
A strong MKE needs a strong MPS. And a strong MPS needs adequate $$$ โ spent in ways that strengthen the district and student outcomes.
That last bit is where I'm hanging up. I just don't think it's fair to ask Milwaukeeans for 30% more in taxes without a spending plan. /๐งต
@thekleschprince you could have 5% attendance and show up and perform proficiently on an assessment and they get an โAโ in the class . you canโt be penalized for not doing busy work, low effort, attendance etc . itโs only mastery
@thekleschprince but alot if schools are proficiency based grading which should he implying that you have the skills and are now college ready. i think the grading system you used in HS doesnโt follow this logic. you would thrive with a proficiency based grading
@thekleschprince no because they are still gonna get fucked over by showing up without the skills needed. if you have โgood gradesโ but never actually learned anything youโre still screwed
@thekleschprince so if we did away w it, we would need to supplement with more remedial courses (for free!) to help ppl get up to speed and succeed in whatever route they chose . specifically thinking about foundations of algebra being huge cause for dropping out
@thekleschprince i do think ACT can measure a baseline ability to access content once you get to a college class . if you canโt perform in the ACT, you likely wonโt be able to perform college coursework (math, science)
