When Chaeyoung said she felt like she should've responded to those strange and disrespectful messages on bubble.. reminded me of the times when she actually did speak up and call people out.
2019 - Her private photo got leaked. She addressed it directly and posted the leaked photo on Instagram saying that it was scary and that people shouldn't do things like that.

Chaeyoung once said on her interview on GQ Korea "I want to be someone who is kind but not soft, someone with clear tastes and convictions, who treats people well but can still speak her mind confidently."

Chaeyoung addressing these issues directly and speaking up about people's disrespectful behavior shows that she is indeed kind but not soft. After all, kindness isn't about tolerating everything. Sometimes, the kindest thing you can do for yourself and for others is to point out and calling them out when their behavior isn’t right. whether that will help them change or not, at least she made her boundaries clear and refused to stay silent about something that causes harm not only to her, but to the members and other artists who have probably gone through the same thing.
