We are thrilled to present our latest dashboard, Solana in 2021. There were a lot of highs and lows in 2021 but charts don't have any feelings or memories about the events, we do! So, share your solana memories, launches, downtimes, etc. under this tweet🎇

Yesterday on Solana:
ATH for the number of unique fee payers🤯
ATH for the number of programs (smart contracts) used📈
ATH for the volume of NFT traded🚀
ATH for the number of ATHs!!!🔥
@levicook@toly@0xAlice_ Yes, it does. Unfortunately, there is no systematic way to detect if a keypair is temporary or not. The most important program inflating this metric is CandyMachine. If we exclude that we still have ~1M unique signers.
The latest addition to our dashboards:

Solana is breaking records again. The number of unique payers surpassed 347K yesterday. For all the people who think this is because of validators and vote transactions if you remove all the vote transactions you still have 346K unique payers! 🚀📈🔥
@kunal_modi@BillC87469647@toly @DemonColIector @Austin_Federa@nansen_ai@solana@DuneAnalytics A single transaction can have multiple signers but the dune data model now only records the first one in the signer column which is the fee payer. So, what you calculated is similar to the unique fee payer chart in our dashboard. Read more about it here:

Summary: Solana Unique Signers >> Unique Fee Payers
Details:
One of the first metrics we calculated on ChainCrunch back in September was Solana's unique users. Coming from an ETH background, we used the unique transaction fee payers as a proxy for this metric.
Therefore our initial metric was not accurate. We have created a separate chart for calculating this metric and the numbers are amazing!
In the previous month, Solana had 1.3 million unique signers on average. Check it out:

Summary: Solana Unique Signers >> Unique Fee Payers
Details:
One of the first metrics we calculated on ChainCrunch back in September was Solana's unique users. Coming from an ETH background, we used the unique transaction fee payers as a proxy for this metric.
Later on, we found out that some protocols use a single fee-payer account to cover the fees for their userbase transactions (@toly thanks for pointing this out). Here is an example of a KIN transfer where the actual signer is not the fee payer:
