This season of Euphoria was strange, but at least the finale had the same heart that fueled the best parts of the previous seasons, and particularly the Rue winter special. This was the finale we deserved, even if the rest of the season didn’t quite deliver.
Paradise season finale recap:
Sinatra: there’s a quantum super computer AI that will fix everything and can predict the future.
Me: yeah, I’m out
Sinatra: it’s under the Denver Airport
Me: we are so back
'Andor' creator Tony Gilroy's Peabody Awards Acceptance Speech:
“We spent six years contemplating a fascist takeover of a galaxy far, far away. Six years thinking about what happens to ordinary beings when an authoritarian, insane, unchecked regime comes into the deal, and the show is really kind of what we learned"
“If you’re not willing to fight for the things that you love, your family, community, your culture, your planet, your truth, freedom, there’s an asshole ready to come in and take it away. We learned that bravery and sacrifice and resistance comes in all shapes and sizes, and we learned that courage is contagious"
“There’s so much is happening, it’s a fire hose of crap that you just can’t get through. And here we are. There isn’t a new cycle that goes by right now that doesn’t contain a variety of outrages that in any other time in our history in America wouldn’t be grounds for treason"
“Please do not stop. Please do not turn out the lights until we can kill this nightmare… and fuck the Empire!”

If 39-year old Novak Djokovic wins this French Open - which now seems like a real possibility - it will be an indictment of an entire generation of tennis players.

@ColinSNewsday My guy. Do a google search. It’s always been called Roland Garros officially, it’s just commonly referred to as French Open by English speaking countries.
So Jaxson Dart gets to publicly express his political beliefs, but Abdul Carter doesn’t? If this is about locker room sanctity and leadership, is it a good idea for the face of the franchise to attend a political rally for a president that is considered to be hugely divisive?
Remember: it was like pulling teeth to get Republicans to fund the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund.
But it took them no time at all to create a $1.8 billion Insurrection Slush Fund to pay off the legal fees of the January 6th rioters who beat cops.
These are sick, corrupt people.
Congratulations to the whole Pistons organization on a great series. Thank you to the @cavs fans for being The Diff tonight. Last but not least… what a magical, outstanding win in the Motor City. Next up: The Big Apple. Let’s keep the journey alive.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but Andor's grim portrayal of homicidal rebels was dumb. Screw Luthen, Saw Gerrera, and Andor himself.
Star Wars is a fairy tale. The good guys are good. Han in ANH and Lando in ESB is as gray as they get (which is to say, not very.)
To say that the ends justify the means misses the entire point of Anakin's fall.
@KCSportsNetwork Yes yes, you keep flexing his undefeated record versus Case Keenum, Drew Lock, Teddy Two Gloves and old ass Joe Flacco, that’s something to be very proud of
