If you're paying taxes and not getting the outcome you wanted, the solution is not to sulk at home while infra crumbles and trash piles up. People must help with whatever is within their capacity! This cynical victim mindset is the same mindset that corruption stems from. "There's no hope, I'll just take what I can from this country for myself and my family, it won't make a difference."

People forget that govt. officials were private citizens too. Everyone is cut from the same cloth.

Change starts with the people. Society must change. And that starts with the individual (you who is reading this). Government change is a reflection of society's values. Even who is available to vote for as an elected official boils down to who is available from the populace.
