There is something I find so risible about my former tribe, the neoliberals. It’s the way they sanitize absolutely horrible things in the language of human rights, democracy, agency, civil society. It’s the rainbow NATO logo and Joe Biden with laser eyes.

« Busification » or forced mobilization is horrible. Inhumane. And what’s more, the class of Ukrainians that took Ukraine to war are exempt from it. The politicians, media, bloggers, businessmen, activists all get deferments. Those who urge the others to fight are the first to avoid the front.
