@Sontaran123 The entire collection is very hard to go through, and the labeling system is - eccentric. I have found stuff on labels that could have been migrated, but it's more likely it's recordings of the same show on multiple air dates.
This is how crazy the estate is.
On the left is an interview with me in the Age Newspaper about collecting, from 20 years ago (in my scrapbook).
On the right are 4 copies of the article I found in the mountains of ephemera from hoarders collection!
What are the odds?
@Sontaran123 I have checked hundreds of discs and usb drives, and none of them are back ups. He had multiple copies of things because he recorded them live every time they were on, and the more modern formats have more modern shows. Sadly, so far nothing migrated from older formats.
Over on our facebook page - The Braxiatel Collection - we are doing a merchandise retrospective 60 objects for 60 years of collecting. If you love collecting or seeing collectables, feel free to come over and join in. Opportunity to get a free post card!
Kindly old Senator Palpatine has invoked emergency powers to enforce a storewide 25% off Sale from Saturday the 29th until May the 4th. So get in early as he has promised to initiate order 66 on the 5th to restore order to the toy shop!
@OgronThe I can understand why she stormed out, I mean what happened to her hair? I and you went a bit nuts with the bingo dabber on her side burns and the rest of her body!
More items from the estate to share - unused U-matic tapes!
Considering how much these would have cost, and that he had 10's of thousands of tapes that were recorded on, not sure why these 3 wouldn't have been used!
I would trade these 3 new tapes from ones with material on!
@David_Kitchen_ Mark of the Rani is the one that always makes me groan. When Deadly Assassin was shown, most people wouldn't have had been able to tape it and check if they actually missed what happened the week before. But adding a new character running in with Mark of the Rani-that was crap!
@wake_oliver @42TODoomsday@DreadSinister Most of the collection wasn't labelled and I am not sure even with the tapes that are labelled, if that's what's on them. One Umatic Tapes has 'Nana Mouskouri' written on it. She has missing material from a late 60's and early 70's BBC Show, so that's a possibility!
