So the next @theDWshow Gin & TARDIS will be a Hartnell era "pick 'n' mix" of orphaned episodes! ๐ธ
Which ones should we pick?!

Get it?
@42TODoomsday
"Kill Worf!"
It's got a wedding, Worf being a selfish jerk, annoying Klingon rituals, no space adventure, no b-plot...
I should HATE "You Are Cordially Invited!"
Yet, because of how good the world building is in DS9, I kinda like it! & a good rest after the occupation arc!
Sacrifice of Angels is a wonderful episode of Trek!
Yes, there are very cool, big space battles!
But under that are the character moments, especially the resistance cell onboard DS9.
Lands the end of an amazing run of 6 - indeed 12! - episode... IMO the best run of eps in Trek.
@stevepanozzo1@theDWshow I can understand the RTD intent to make the Doctor more "relatable" for a modern audience... but, at what point in that process do you miss the whole point of The Doctor?
Our next @theDWshow will be our "Cold Take" on the Gatwa era, a year on!
So I have to pick 3-4 Gatwa eps to watch over June.
What to you think will be the most interesting to reflect on?

On the latest @theDWshow monthly ep, we not only dive deep into The Sontaran Stratagem, but we discuss flying rumours about Christmas Specials (or lack thereof), & I get to say how much I enjoyed The Turing Test & Endgame... & my plans to read more EDAs!

On this month's @theDWshow we dive deep into The Sontaran Stratagem, & I suggest that this is distilled RTD... the best & the worst of his Dr Who!
What do you make of it?!

I'd contend that Favor the Bold is the first episode of DS9 - and indeed, of Trek - to not have any standalone plot; it exists purely to move the arc along.
And it does a great job of it!

Thanks for all the downloads, folks! @David_Kitchen_ and I are really happy with how much we crammed into 1.5hrs, and we hope you enjoyed the listen :)

Used to think Sons & Daughters was the weak ep of the arc (partly because it's a Worf ep), but I've come to appreciate it. Realising Alexander feels so despised by Worf he'd happily die to prove a point shows what a dick Worf really is.
& there's more good stuff happening on DS9!
