Better Business Bureau warns scammers can take advantage of the information from back to school photos
Parents often post their kids holding signs with their name, age, school, and even teachers. All of that can be used for identity theft.
If you DO post a photo, experts advise:
-Leave out personal details
-Keep the background generic – no street signs, house numbers or school names
-never use your kids’ names or birthdays in passwords – that’s an easy way in for hackers. @GMA
