"Coughs - Go f-ck yourself"
What's the best thing that can happen to u today? Have u prayed for that to happen? Do u Believe that it could? Are u prepared if it does? What if it doesn't, does that ruin your day? How do u handle silence from God? Consistency is what we all need regardless of what today may bring. #CoachPrime

The Cost of Leadership
You will have to make tough decisions that negatively affect people you care about.
You will be disliked despite your best attempts to do the best for the most.
You will be misunderstood & won’t always have the opportunity to defend yourself.

Trying to help people with their mental health without faith and God is like putting together a puzzle with a missing piece. God is the key missing piece of the puzzle to solve the mental health crisis.
Culture is not just one thing; it’s everything. Culture drives expectation and beliefs. Expectations and beliefs drive behaviors. Behaviors drive habits. And habits create the future. It all starts with culture.

"Players play. Tough players win." (Tom Izzo)
Tough players play through situations. They compete regardless of the circumstances. They keep playing in spite of poor officiating. They play tough when they are tired. They gut it out when adversity hits. Tough players win!
Anything worthwhile requires you to choose. It’s easy to be lazy, negative and bitter. To be dedicated, positive and forgiving requires a choice. The better path will always be more challenging in the short run but when you choose it, you’ll experience the long term benefits. Life is a test. Choose the positive road.
Teachers don't leave because it's hard. Teachers are some of the most conscientious and hardest working professionals I know. They leave because the field fails to provide the pay, respect, support, and value that they deserve as professionals.
We spend 50% more hours in school than Finland. They get 15 mins of recess every hour. They have NO standardized tests except for PISA in HS & they outperform us every time. The irony is that they created their system based on US schools and US university research in the 1970's.
The reason it is so important to focus on teachers' strengths is because most teachers are highly agreeable and highly conscientious. They already know their weaknesses because that has always been the focus in education, and because teachers are their own worst critics.
