Don’t know why this had to happen. And not going to lie it’s hurts. But all we can do now is Trust in God and attack every single day over and over again. Thank you Chiefs kingdom for always supporting me and for everyone who has reached out and sent prayers. I Will be back stronger than ever ⏰
My hometown team turning literally everyone else in the media into Sideshow Bob stepping on a rake each and every year with their “No, THIS year is different! The aura is gone! They’re not the AFC favorites!”, having those people SWEAR they’re done stepping on rakes after the annual Arrowhead Invitational, and then those same people not being able to resist the urge to step on the damn rake again & just be SHOCKED it hits them in the face has turned into my favorite annual tradition.
It was a great fight between two legendary fighters. Technique, skill, IQ, and power! Congratulations to Terence Crawford on a well-earned victory! You deserve this
Big fight feel this week in Vegas. I truly love boxing. Like a lot of us, the fights were always on in my house as a kid. I can still remember being 9 watching the Riddick Bowe Evander Holyfield rematch in 1993 when some nutjob paraglided into the ring lol, or betting way too much on Zab Judah against Floyd and watching it in the pool hall with a few people who aren't here anymore. But as much as I love the sweet science, I don't love gratuitous senseless violence, something I think most of us are feeling, especially lately. Some can't understand that dichotomy, and I can understand that. One of my favorite parts of combat sports is when the final bell rings. Nine out of ten times they immediately hug, embrace, and forever have each other's respect. It's beautiful. No guns, no knives, it doesn't matter what you believe in, your race, ethnicity, religion or creed, it can be settled in, and left in, the ring. And we can all have an opinion on the outcome with passion and respect, even if it can get a little wild from time to time. I've been to a lot of fights, and a lot of boxing gyms; you might be surprised if you haven't. Beneath the surface, there is love. It's human. And at the highest levels, art. And although we may never agree on everything, I think we can all come together and agree on this one thing - that Terence, "Bud" Crawford is bringing the belts back home to Omaha Nebraska lol it's time to go to WORK champ. Either way though, no matter who you're riding with, much love, viva México forever, and may God bless them both. Thank you for bringing us together once more for another Saturday night. #boxing #canelocrawford #andthenew #ripginky
