Remember, nothing pressures and depresses you like owing money and still being poor, with no business. Therefore, make it your business not to be in the business of borrowing.

If you are looking for someone to fall in love with, I recommend yourself. Other than perhaps your mother, nobody will love you more than you love yourself. So self-love is key. Now, people may label you a narcissist when you effectively love yourself, and that is okay. Not everyone likes themselves, so of course you will trigger some people when you have high self-love. Your relationship with yourself matters more than your relationship with others. So, prioritise yourself. You are not being self-absorbed; you are being self-aware. Sadly, too many people do not attain self-awareness, which is the basis for self-love. And when you find it hard to say no to others without feeling guilty, your self-awareness and self-love are deficient.

By making them indebted to you, you will slowly but surely make them hate you. Tell them no. Their initial disappointment is better than the maleficial resentment that can last a lifetime.

But your parents are the roots of your life. Any gardener who focuses on the fruits of a tree and ignores the roots of that tree will soon lose everything because, without roots, the tree will die!
