You have taught us the way to love and shown us what true greatness in the Kingdom looks like. You have taught us to pursue Jesus above all else, to value Christ-like character above charisma, and to contend for deeper dimensions of spiritual growth and maturity.

I bear this scar and pain for Jesus. This is the mark that I left darkness into light.

Although, after many surgeries, the medical complications are still there, but I will never go back from following Jesus.

I was in a church sharing my salvation experience, and after I have preached and about 300 hundred gave their lives to Christ, as I was coming out of the church, some people shouted, Pastor we need your help.

Unknown to me, they were angry Muslim who were bittɛred because of a growing number of people who are leaving Islam in my community in Gambia because of my testimony.

As I looked back, one of them poured a bucked of acid on my face, as I turned the other side, another one poured another bucket of acid and they were shouting:

"Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar".

My eyes were affected but not totally blinded. I am joyfully bearing the scars and the pain. That is the price I have to pay in following Jesus.

Brethren stood by me, they prayed for me, they took care of me. There is love in Jesus.

Please 🙏 pray that the Lord will heal my pains completely. Pray for my faith not to shake.

Although, they are still threatening me, but there is no going back from following Jesus.

Last Saturday was undoubtedly one of the most EMOTIONAL and MEMORABLE days of my life. Never in my WILDEST imagination did I think that I would find myself so OVERWHELMED with emotion simply by walking my baby sister, down the AISLE. What made the moment so emotional for both myself and GLENDOUR was the PAINFUL realization that our late mother was not there to WITNESS what would have been one of her PROUDEST moments of her life. I held back my TEARS knowing Mai NYARI / SISI CANI was definitely smiling on us up above from HEAVEN 🕊️

In our AFRICAN tradition and culture, a wedding is not truly a wedding until people have eaten GOOD FOOD, until their BELLIES are FULL and families have celebrated together DANCING the night away. What I witnessed on Saturday was indeed a WEDDING in every sense of the word. People ate, people celebrated, people laughed and people DANCED until late into the night. The décor was EXCEPTIONAL, the music was OUTSTANDING as we were SERANADED by timeless classics from great musicians such as the legendary KARIKOGA Leonard ZHAKATA and contemporary gospel music from Mathias Mhere. We were entertained by incredible dancers, and had the best MC of all time.

All I can say is THANK YOU, to everyone who made this day a SUCCESS, giving special mention especially to the SERVICE PROVIDERS.

More often than not, service providers are OVERLOOKED and at times UNDERPAID or SHORTCHANGED, as everyone tends to focus only on the Bride and Groom yet they spend months or weeks PLANNING for the wedding and PREPARING the decor etc. They are the first to wake up and some even SLEEP at the venue the night before yet they are the last to leave after CLEANING up the venue. Regrettably, they always get the LEAST recognition and paid a fraction of what they really DESERVE !!!
