🇺🇸 Last week, the US passed a bill to block a central bank digital currency (CBDC).

🇪🇺 Meanwhile, the EU is moving ahead with the digital euro after lawmakers advanced the proposal.

A pilot could begin in 2027, with a possible launch around 2029.

While the US is backing private stablecoins, Europe is building a government-backed digital currency.
