@REBELC0RK I see a lot more people using this park than previously. There much more & better seating. It’s a nice place to eat a lunch bought in the English market. The old park used to turn into a mud pit after rain. I think it’s looks much better too but I know I’m in the minority here.

@RMcGreevy1301 It was great & we still benefit from it as most of us brought our homes in the next 20 years before prices got ridiculous. The best, most innovative music scene in history except maybe the 60’s? Ireland was officially conservative but in practice you could be really liberal.

@irishexaminer Why Munster? Waterford’s natural catchment will be Kilkenny, Carlow & Wexford -all in Leinster. All connected with excellent roads. Only 1 hour drive from each capital city/town.

@thomas_eilveis This type of military/warfare is obsolete and too resource intensive. Iran is the model Ireland should aim for. We just need 10,000’s of missiles, air drones and navy drones. All for the price of a modern jet fighter.
Multiple launch sites and stockpiled in mountains caves.

@conoro Never understood the appeal of Kinsale, particularly on a busy day. Other than it is close to the City.
It is popular with the wealthy and that alone seems a draw for many people. Each to their own I suppose.

@RobLooseCannon Great post, don’t forget the Flemish. A portion of the Norman army invading England were William’s wife, Matilda’s men, who were Flemish. By the time of Henry 1st, the Norman’s deliberately settled the Flemish to South Wales for political and military reasons.

@theericjacobus Decent henchmen, not just scores of useless cannon fodder. Think of all the cool bad dudes in Die Hard 1 & 2, Robocop, Total Recall, Dredd (2012), Tim Burton’s Batman movies, etc. A group of baddies who were like an evil A-Team, tough to kill - all presenting unique challenges.
