Thank you to Mrs Hearn for delivering assemblies to all year groups every day this week due to British Science week! The theme this year is 'Change and adapt' which caused students to think about how the world is changing and how we can adapt to those changes.
📚 Find the Fun in Reading📚
Reading has life-changing benefits, but the reality is that fewer children are picking up books for fun. Only 1 in 3 children in the UK enjoy reading.
But the good news is, we can help change this! 🙌🏼
We asked children what they need from grown-ups to support them to read for fun, and here’s what they told us:

Happy #MoleDay! Right now, it's 6:02am on 23 October, aka 6:02 10/23 in the US date format. Chemists out there will notice this date and time resembles Avogadro's number, a basic measuring unit, which defines the number of particles in one mole of substance.
