Contrary to claims, people are NOT constantly going missing from the Foundation.
According to the Tamil Nadu Police’s own report, in the last 30 years of the foundation’s functioning, and among over 75 million visitors who have come to the Isha Yoga Center, only 6 cases of missing people have been reported.
Five of the six missing person cases have been closed by the police because the individuals were found safe and well.
There is only one open case of a missing person, which was in fact filed by the Foundation itself. The person, who stepped outside the Isha Yoga Center, was unreachable after a few hours of absence. The Foundation immediately approached the police and informed the family. The Foundation continues to follow up and work with the police and hopes for the individual’s safe return.
No evidence of illegal confinement. They (daughters of petitioner) are major and residing at Ashram at their wish. SC disposed petition against Isha Foundation.
Intimidation tactics against Sadguru failed miserably. Rest is upto Hindus in the region.
No evidence of illegal confinement- Supreme Court disposes of a habeas corpus petition filed by a father alleging that his two daughters were being held captive in the Isha Yoga Centre and being brainwashed there.
Isha Foundation Again Under Attack
The missionary and leftist ecosystem is hell-bent on attacking the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore - for obvious reasons.
Let's look at the chronology of what has happened in the recent years.
------------
Original case:
In September 2024, there was an attempt to harass the foundation with a dummy case in the Madras High Court regarding two lady monks alleging that they were held captive in the Isha Yoga Center.
The Habeus Corpus petition itself had no grounds because the lady monks presented themselves in the court. This case was reopened with no fresh proofs after it was dismissed in 2016 itself for lack of grounds.
Yet, the judge ordered for a detailed police enquiry. Many lawyers were shocked with the statements made by the Madras High Court judges.
150 police personnel descended on the Isha Yoga Center in an attempt to chase some ghosts, talking to the Isha meditators and volunteers there. There was a huge hue-and-cry on social media about the abuse of political and judicial power.
Isha Foundation went to the Supreme Court. Looking at the grounds of abuse, the case was taken up after the CJI himself spoke to the two lady monks. The CJI then ordered the case be transferred to the Supreme Court from the Madras High Court.
The Supreme Court ordered the Tamil Nadu police to send the investigation details to the SC and not the Madras HC.
Sensing that they are clearly losing the forceful detention case of the lady monks, the missionary / communist ecosystem is pulling all its threads.
Just one day before the Supreme Court hearing happens, on 17th October 2024, a media trial is being made out with sexual harassment cases against Isha.
------------
Allegation 1:
A press meet was called by the parents of a boy who was allegedly sexually assaulted while studying at the Isha Home School.
Details of The Hindu article: https://t.co/v62qUI7b8V
The mother alleges that her son was sexually assaulted before COVID and they came to know about it during the lockdown from his diary.
She claims there was no digital trail - no email responses or whatsapp responses - just whatsapp calls. Quite convenient if you ask me.
The mother also claims she did not go to the police because she respects Sadhguru too much. And yet, she did call for a press meet but did not go the police again!
Something seems to be missing here. I have a couple of questions for the parent:
(1) If your son becomes suicidal because somebody abused him and you are pissed about it, why did you not go to the police or call for a press meet then itself? Why wait for 2-3 years if you have the proofs?
(2) If the Isha Foundation knew you were disgruntled and did not respond to you initially, how come they allowed you to be a political science teacher with them, till June 2024? Are they so naive and foolish?
Do not get me wrong, if there is an abuse a child has suffered, whoever is responsible for it should be certainly acted against. If the parent had called for the school administration to be punished, it would not have raised any flags. But she is calling out Sadhguru and that is making the background more suspicious.
------------
Allegation 2:
There is another parent who joined the press meeting via Whatsapp apparently claiming her 7-year-old daughter was raped multiple times by teachers at the Isha Home School and became suicidal (as the Hindu article claims).
Again the same questions remain:
(1) If your daughter is traumatized because somebody sexually abused her and you are angry about it, why did you not go to the police immediately?
(2) Who created the platform for two 'allegedly' disgruntled parents to come together? One is from Andhra / Telangana and the other is from Tamil Nadu. Their children appear to be from different age groups. It surely could not have been a chance coming together.
When a journalist asked why the mother did not file a police case in any part of India as the incident happened a few years ago, she replied that she is a core volunteer with Isha. I am not clear how this is an answer.
------------
Glaring inconsistencies I noted in the press meet:
(1) In the press meet video on FaceBook, there were other allegations as well casually thrown about some missing people, which The Hindu article wrongly says as missing children. This is a case that has been clearly rubbished by the foundation.
(2) There was also a mention about girl children doing yoga half-naked - it sounds like a bad movie plot! I know for a fact that this is not the case for any children there.
(3) Then there were weird statements like the faculty is undertrained but overqualified to look after the children. What does that even mean?
(4) The names mentioned - Bharati, Maa Pradyuta, etc. are not associated with the school for several years now.
(5) Calling for the closing of the yoga center instead of fixing the irregularities if any, the people using words like brainwashing, forceful detention, etc., which are the same ones that have been constantly used by the left / missionary ecosystem in TN reeks of agenda.
------------
My take:
I have downloaded the press meet video so that tomorrow it cannot be claimed that there were no inconsistencies and lies.
The parents claim that they have proofs which they will submit to "any law enforcing agency". I wonder why they have not done so till now and would be happy if the proofs are exposed to the world too - if there is someone from the schools is found guilty and has to be punished, they should be.
Mark my words, even before any proofs of wrongdoing come out, there will be a big media trial and debates conducted in the Tamil and Telugu media about all this. People will be repeatedly told that an ashram is a place of sexual abuse and harassment.
This is not an attack on Isha alone, it is a coordinated attack on all things Sanatana Dharma stands for. Will the Dharma win again?
Isha has been like the last bastion that withstood these attacks for a while in Tamil Nadu. But bringing little children into this, could likely to tilt the balance against Isha in the public mind space and that is the goal of the vested interests.
Hello Mr Owaisi,
How on earth can you draw comparisons between these two cases?
- The Hadiya case was about a Hindu girl systematically brainwashed and converted by followers of your religion.
- The present case of the lady monks at Isha Foundation is about the right to free will and liberty, guaranteed by Article 21 of the Indian Constitution, and the right to profess and practice a faith, guaranteed by Article 25.
Some other points that you might want to know
- The CJI interacted with the monks before transferring the case from the HC to itself
- The monks told the CJI that this harassment from the father has been ongoing for the last 8 years
- A similar petition was filed by the mother of the monks 8 years ago
- The monks had informed the HC at that time that they were staying at Isha Yoga Center, of their own free will
- The father filed another petition after 8 years
- Did you ask why the HC allowed a similar petition from another petition, after 8 years?
- What was the need to send 150 police personnel merely based on the father's oral assertions, especially when the first petition filed 8 years ago was dismissed?
You are supposed to be a lawyer. Aren't you supposed to go through related documents before coming up with an inane post like this?
The coming attack on Sadguru.
This is what I foresee: An attack on Sadguru by the deep state using false cases to discredit him, destroy his reputation, and disillusion millions of his devoted followers worldwide.
It's not difficult to see why this is coming. Sadguru has unwittingly gained India significant soft power and influence globally, which the deep state can't tolerate.
Moreover, they'll exploit this to tarnish Modi's image by association. It's a classic tactic: link the leader to the target slapped with a nasty case, then sully their brand along with the targeted, tarnished victim. They tried this using Adani. More will follow.
For years, the deep state has attempted to co-opt Sadguru into their fold, just as they have with others. They've lavished him with publicity, boosted his brand, and incentivized him to promote their interests and shape Indian opinion. However, their expectations were unmet.
Cases against #Sadguru and his foundation will be filed in India to harass him as usual. But the real hit job will occur outside India. Media, the likes of Hindu, will publish a damning report from a foreign source, employing the same tactics used to destroy reputations with false allegations against men.
With how things are proceeding between India and the US, with PM Modi's visit to Russia happening soon, this attack can come even before December of this year. But it can also take a few years to be orchestrated. All I can say is, I foresee it coming.
I wish I am wrong.
Isha Foundation, PFI's Markazul Hidhaya (Sathya Sarini) & Kerala's Catholic Church
Case 1:
A father files a complaint that his two daughters aged 42 and 39 are being 'held against their will and forced into monkhood' at Isha Foundation campus near Coimbatore. The women duly appear in court and deny their father's allegation.
Yet, Madras HC orders a police probe into the spiritual center, and a 150-strong police team swoop in on the campus almost immediately.
Case 2:
Parents like KM Ashokan and Mini Vijayan plead that their daughters Akhila and Aparna (in teens or early 20s) have gone missing while studying and are being forcibly held in PFI's Markazul Hidhaya (aka 'Sathya Sarini' - road of truth, a name kept to lure unsuspecting Hindus), an Islamic theological center for neo converts in Manjeri, Kerala, no raid is carried out.
Even after an NIA probe finds that preachers at the PFI center were using hypnotic counselling to indoctrinate neo-converts about Islam's superiority and inferiority of other faiths, and using other psychological and coercive techniques, no action is taken by the courts or any arm of the Indian State.
Case 3:
A nun Sister Jaseeena is found dead in suspicious circumstances in a waterlogged quarry outside her convent in 2021. It became yet another case in a long list of disturbing cases of nuns ending up dead in water bodies like wells. Divya P. Johnny, Susan Mathew, Stella Maria, Sister Abhaya are just some of the nuns, considered ‘Brides of Christ’, found dead in similar circumstances; Over 20 such cases have been reported in Kerala since 1987!
The repeated rape of a nun by Bishop Franco Mulakkal threw open the murky history of how Catholic Priests have been preying on nuns for sex and raping or molesting them for decades in churches across Bharat. Most attacks were not reported to authorities for fear of reprisals for breaking vow of chastity, bringing a 'bad name' to the Church, and due to culture of obedience towards priests who are seen as living representatives of Christ by the nuns.
But no Church compound was ever raided in the fashion that Isha Foundation campus was.
Conclusion:
Indian secularism is a farce. Indian State is inherently anti-Hindu and pro-Abrahamic
I feel compelled to speak up. I have been associated with @ishafoundation since 2004. I left a high paying corporate job, took a sabbatical and lived at the Isha Ashram with @SadhguruJV for nearly 3 years during 2008-2010. (Along with my saadhna, I used to teach at @IshaHomeSchool , do translation work and was involved with setting up curriculum for @IshaSamskriti .)
I have had the privilege of seeing youngsters self introspect and ‘choose’ to take up the path of Brahmacharya. I have seen the transformations in those youngsters. In sanatan Dharma, living as a Grahastha or a Brahmachari has always been a choice. Our History is laden with powerful examples of Yogis developing in both these paths. To target This tradition while leaving out others similar (I’ll leave it at that) is disappointing. I have interacted with Radhe since she was a little kid. To drag Her in this… if this is not a personal attack at Sadhguru then I don’t know what else to call it. (Now I hear that nearly 100 cops entered ashram while the case is still on to do ‘verification’ and ‘checks’.)
I say this with respect. Perhaps we need to sincerely look beyond the incident and ask ourselves Why one certain person from one certain way of living is being targeted (I don’t know what other word to use).

@StringReveals Shocking to see Madras High Court putting up questions contrary to Article 21 of Indian Constitution i.e. Right to Life.
What someone does in their life shouldn’t concern anyone.
@SadhguruJV must respond to these “questions” appropriately, because it is sensualising the issue.
In 2024, if Vivekananda was alive, no doubt someone ‘in position of authority’ would have asked him - how are you building Ramakrishna Mission full of sannyasi monks when Ramakrishna was ‘married’? No doubt. And all the ‘law-abiding’ Hindus would have remained silent.
I’m surprised that Isha Foundation has such a weak legal team. HC can be easily quashed/stayed if approached SC as the judge violates the freedom, will & rights of an individual. Police battalion need not enter into the ashram just to produce one person in front of court. @SadhguruJV please look into this👇🙏
India Courts such as Madras High Court regulate Hindu temple practices and expropriate temple resources. Now want to judge what gurus like @SadhguruJV can teach, as if it was their legal right. Yet they never interfere in Christian or Muslim institutions, teachings or practices.
Apparently, the phenomenal rise of @SadhguruJV & his @ishafoundation has enraged the global mafia.
The manner in which he is being maligned and targeted leaves no doubt that there is more than meets the eye.
Something doesn't add up.

The Madras High Court’s Order against the Isha Foundation is patently illegal and a brazen instance of judicial overreach.
The Judge’s obnoxious remarks about Sadhguru @SadhguruJV are an insult to the entire Hindu community.
Does the judge not credit the independence and autonomy of adult women to make their own choices?
Similarly, doesn’t Sadhguru’s daughter have the right and autonomy to be married, if she wishes to do so?
Despite testimony from the two adult ladies that they wish to live as monks at the @ishafoundation - the High Court Judge arrogated to himself parens patriae jurisdiction and ordered a fishing and roving inquiry - which has no application whatsoever in a situation like this.
The Hon’ble Chief Justice of India ought to take suo moto notice and Stay this perverse and illegal Order.
@catale7a People like @Javedakhtarjadu were biased from the beginning in these matters and acted accordingly hence it can be understood.
Very surprising to see that few people blindly listen and agree to whatever he says instead of first looking at @SadhguruJV's work. Unfortunate!
