मध्य प्रदेश में OBC आरक्षण 14% इसलिए है क्योंकि SC (20%) + ST (16%) का आरक्षण इन्होंने 36% दिया हुआ है जबकि साधारणतः 22.5% होता है यानी 13.5% ज़्यादा आरक्षण दिया। अब संवैधानिक सीमा के अंदर ओबीसी को केवल 14% ही मिल रहा है।

कमल नाथ + मोहन यादव द्वारा 14% से 27% करने वाला कानून (63%) को मध्य प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट ने असंवैधानिक करार देकर रद्द कर दिया।

सामान्य वर्ग का सीट “अनारक्षित/ओपन” होता है। मेरिट पर आरक्षित वर्ग भी इसे क्लेम कर सकता है, OBC क्रीमी लेयर भी इसी कैटेगरी में आता है।

व्यवस्था सुधारने और वास्तविक समाधान की बजाय सामान्य वर्ग को कोसना आसान है। हाईकोर्ट में हार के बाद @DrMohanYadav51 ने अब सुप्रीम कोर्ट जाने की तैयारी किया है, वहाँ भी हारना तय है।
