1月13日，河南省巩义市一所学校教室内，一名学生突然抄起板凳走向前排，朝同学后脑部位猛砸。被击学生当场瘫倒在课桌上，随后又强撑坐起，周围多名学生慌忙上前查看情况。
一名校方工作人员回应称，事件“并未造成实质伤害”，并表示涉事画面存在拍摄角度造成的误判，“看起来像是打到了，实际上并没有，只是起到惊吓作用”。该工作人员还称，目前被打学生已返回学校正常上课，涉事学生则已办理转学手续。
