Michigan State journalism student Elliott Hammon still has the video Tom Izzo sent him before his brain tumor surgery four and a half years ago.

Hammon brought it up during Izzo’s press conference and asked how it impacts him knowing he means so much to people.

Izzo’s full response:

“It’s better than winning.”

“What people think of you, how you can inspire people. I mean, that’s why I’m here. Some people jump around and go to different jobs. I want to be a part of the fabric of this place, and I want to be a guy that people can come to.

“If that tape, or that video, or phone call helped you… (pounds chest) that’s awesome.”

@wildcats399 @TBob53 I think Scyther is locking down anyone. He’s gotta be unanimous CB1 on everyone’s big board

[Adam Chandler @Chandolla]

@wildcats399 @TBob53 This is a hypothetical with fictional monsters. I’d assume they could both use their mouths to catch the ball if need be

The MAC announces that it's appealing the end of the Michigan game to the FBS Oversight Committee and CFB Playoff.

"The MAC is requesting those bodies recognize Western Michigan as the actual winner of the game for purposes of their respective rankings ..."

@SchillingTheT69 It’s very selfish, but can you imagine where we’d be if Jace decided to stay another year? That’s probably the best guard duo in the country and we would be one of the favorites to win it all

[Adam Chandler @Chandolla]

@itsAntWright At this point, why not try one of the bigs as a Point Forward like Izzo did with Dray? Kohler has to be able to bring the ball up the court for a couple minutes each half.
