What if your market research looked like a decision-ready report… generated from a single prompt?
That question pulled me into the world of AI agents.
Introducing Leo, your all-in-one marketing research companion.
It all started when I attended a @lyzr__ai webinar on building AI agents. The session gave me a genuine wow moment and opened up a new side of AI I hadn’t explored. That curiosity pushed me to sign up for the AI Agent Demo Day by @lyzr__ai organised by @AgaraWalksBLR × @theAIcollective
While thinking about what to build, I kept coming back to how marketers jump between 30+ tabs before ChatGPT, then moved to prompting… yet still end up stitching research manually.
I wanted to see if a single prompt could give end-to-end structured insights in a clean, decision-ready format, almost like an analyst-generated report.
That idea eventually became Leo.
The journey reminded me of my early no-code experiments building conversational bots, which slowly evolved into vibe coding and deeper agent workflows. But the process wasn’t smooth. At one point, Leo began returning outputs filled with random symbols. Minutes before my demo slot, I almost decided to present only the slides I had prepared.
I reached out to @VaibhaviPai15 and she helped me like a teacher, not just fixing the issue but showing me a better way to build and think about agents.
Because of that guidance, Leo worked.
And this time, it ran inside a clean UI built using @Lovable powered by the Lyzr AI agent.
The audience response was warm and encouraging. It felt good to build something, ship it, and present it in a room full of people working on agents across HR, healthcare, customer service, content, productivity, and market research.
Big thanks to @VaibhaviPai15 and @PrabhuKeDarshan for organising the event and kudos to everyone who showcased their agents.
I walked out feeling that this is just the beginning ✨

This is how we celebrated Friendship Day. 💙
29 stations. One transfer. A Sunday night spent differently. A moving Chennai Metro.
Eight people trusted an unusual idea before it was proven. That’s what made this experience possible.
Happy Friendship Day from Doing Things AI. 🚇
Hats off to everyone who showed up, trusted the idea, and became part of @DoingThingsAIHq : Build & Blend #5. ❤️
A few days ago, we announced something that sounded a little crazy.
“Let’s do AI vibe coding inside a moving Chennai Metro.”
Many wondered if it would even work.
Yesterday, we took the first step.
We started at 6:30 PM from Chennai Airport Metro with laptops, ideas, and a lot of curiosity. We wrapped up at 9:15 PM with something we hadn’t planned for a completely different experience than we had imagined.
We came to build.
We left with new friendships, deeper conversations, and ideas worth building together.
That’s probably what made this Friendship Day edition special.
We didn’t just experiment with a different venue. We experimented with a different way of bringing AI builders together. That experiment gave us far more than we expected.
Every experiment leaves you with a few lessons.
One thing this experiment taught us is that the environment matters. Reliable connectivity, comfortable seating, and a setup designed purely for building can take the experience to another level. That’s exactly what we’ll continue improving.
The conversations became deeper. The connections felt genuine. Ideas were exchanged. New friendships were formed.
We’re often obsessed with prompts, tools, and AI models. Yesterday reminded us that the conversations around them matter just as much.
Eight people trusted an idea that had never been tried before. That’s something we’ll never take for granted.
More than anything, we’re grateful to everyone who believed in the idea before it was proven. Without that trust, this experiment wouldn’t have happened.
This was our first step. The next edition will be shaped by everything we learned yesterday.
Happy Friendship Day from all of us at Doing Things AI. 💙
Thank you to everyone who trusted us enough to try something different.
We came to build. We ended up blending even more. Maybe that’s exactly what this Friendship Day edition needed. 🚇💙
Four weeks ago, at @DoingThingsAIHq we started something called Build & Blend with a simple idea.
What if there was a place where AI builders could simply show up and build together?
So we hosted the first Build & Blend at a Third Wave Coffee, Adayar in Chennai on July 8.
There was no agenda beyond creating a space where people could open their laptops, work on real projects, exchange ideas, and help each other make progress.
We weren't sure if it would become a recurring event.
Today, Build & Blend has quietly become our Wednesday ritual.
Every Wednesday from 7 PM to 10 PM, founders, developers, marketers, designers, students, and AI enthusiasts come together to build.
A huge shout-out to @kamalikaPoddar, who's been co-hosting this journey along with me and helping shape Build & Blend into what it is today.
This Sunday marks our 5th Build & Blend.
More importantly, it's our 10th offline AI community event in Chennai since we started Doing Things AI.
The vision has remained the same from day one, to build a thriving AI builder ecosystem in Chennai.
This Friendship Day, we wanted to do something we've never done before.
Instead of meeting in a café or an office, we're turning our Namma Chennai Metro into a moving builder's workspace.
We'll board at Chennai International Airport Metro Station on the Blue Line, build while travelling to Chennai Central, take a short break to switch to the Green Line, and continue building until we reach St. Thomas Mount.
Just builders, laptops, AI, and a moving metro.
I genuinely believe communities are built when people create together, not just network together.
If you're in Chennai and have been looking for people who enjoy building with AI, we'd love to have you join us.

Super excited about this partnership! ✨
@TiEChennai x Chennai Marketers & Founders ❤️
What started as a community-driven initiative has now become an opportunity to contribute to Chennai’s entrepreneurial ecosystem in a bigger way.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible Chennai Marketers & Founders community members for your continued support and to the TiE Chennai team for the trust and opportunity to partner with SHIFT 2026.
Looking forward to meeting founders, marketers, investors, and builders from across the ecosystem.
See you all tomorrow at SHIFT 2026! 🤝
I still remember the conversation I had with Penchala Tharun at Founder Startup House.
One thing that stood out to me was how naturally he connects with people. He’s someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships, and it shows.
What started as a simple conversation about moderating a panel discussion has now led to him becoming our next speaker at Friday Collective #23 by Chennai Marketers & Founders.
Topic: How Personal Branding Impacts Sales Revenue
In today’s B2B landscape, buyers trust people before they trust companies. Tharun will share how executive visibility and personal branding influence pipeline generation, sales outcomes, and long-term business growth.
If you’re a founder, marketer, or someone building your professional brand, I think you’ll find this session valuable.

See you there!
When conviction outweighs fear.
In the middle of chaos, one image stood out.
Rhiya Ahir standing in front of a police vehicle carrying detained students became one of the defining visuals of the recent protests.

Blind trust is not a marketing strategy.
Businesses shouldn’t be told to “just invest in digital marketing.”
Every business has different challenges. Sometimes the bottleneck isn’t marketing, it’s the product, pricing, sales process, or retention.
The job of a marketer isn’t to sell hope. It’s to provide clarity:
1. What marketing can achieve.
2. What it cannot.
3. When not to spend.
Trust isn’t built by asking for blind faith.
It’s built through honesty, education, and realistic expectations.
Some sessions end with applause.
This one ended with people rethinking how they build products.
Today’s Friday Collective #22 at Chennai Marketers & Founders with Kamalika Poddar was one of our most engaging sessions yet.
What made it special wasn’t just the content, it was everything that happened before and during the session.
We didn’t pick a topic because it was trending.
We curated it based on conversations, polls, and what our community genuinely wanted to learn. From ideation to positioning, every part of the session was shaped by our members.
And Kamalika went above and beyond.
Even before the session, she was actively engaging in our WhatsApp group, answering questions, challenging assumptions, and adding thoughtful perspectives. In a very short span, the group saw 50+ meaningful messages, turning the lead-up to the event into a brainstorming session of its own.
During the session, we went far beyond “how to build an AI app.”
We explored:
• Second-order thinking before building
• The Mom Test and Jobs-to-be-Done
• AI product architecture and security
• Pricing AI products differently from traditional SaaS
• Distribution before product
• The “wrapper test” for AI startups
• Why trust, community, and workflow become your moat
The energy in the room made one thing clear:
People don’t just want more AI tools. They want better ways of thinking about building products.
A huge thank you to Kamalika Poddar for generously sharing practical frameworks, honest startup lessons, and for investing time with our community even before the session began.
And to every member who voted in the polls, shared their thoughts in the group, asked thoughtful questions, and joined us today, thank you. The quality of any community is defined by the people who actively contribute, and you made this session incredibly valuable.
As always, grateful to be building Chennai Marketers & Founders alongside Dilip Kumar. Every session reinforces why we started this community in the first place, to create a space where marketers and founders learn from practitioners, exchange ideas openly, and grow together.
Here’s to many more meaningful conversations.
A recent observation on my remote work.
Have you ever wondered working alone in a home environment and you felt your productivity is getting decreased and the moment you shift your environment to a cafe and you find lot of people working on themselves and suddenly you tend to work much better.
When I recently met someone I asked this question and his response was, while some will be able to work on a home environment for some a change in environment will help them do much better. The way he explained in a visual way, explains a lot about it.
Sometimes few things we try to keep doing but still we end up doing the same thing, but all it takes is change the approach.
That change will get better result rather than stuck to the current one which doesn’t yield a good one.
Recently, someone asked me a question that has been sitting with me ever since.
“Who’s Chandru?”
Not what I do.
Not where I work.
Not what I’m building.
Just... who is Chandru?
For the longest time, I’ve carried myself through titles: marketer, community builder, founder, creator. They’re all part of my journey, but they’re not the whole of who I am.
So I asked myself:
What if I stripped away every title? Who would be left?
That question changed something.
It made me look at the substance beneath the labels—my strengths, my blind spots, the way I think, what energizes me, and what drains me.
I realized my imagination is one of my greatest strengths. It helps me connect dots, generate ideas, and see possibilities others might miss.
But that same imagination can also become a source of anxiety. Every new possibility creates another path to explore, another decision to make, another “what if.”
The strength and the struggle come from the same place.
Self-awareness doesn’t eliminate your flaws. It teaches you how to work with them instead of against them.
Business still demands that you show up, pitch your ideas, and put yourself out there. But when your identity isn’t tied to the outcome, you navigate both wins and setbacks with a little more calm.
Maybe that’s what “Know thyself” really means.
Not as a philosophical quote.
But as one of the most practical forms of self-care.
Because titles will change.
Knowing who you are is what stays.
Ciao!
Building is less intimidating when you're surrounded by people building.
@DoingThingsAIHq: Build & Blend was created with that in mind.
We're trying to bring more Al builder energy to Chennai.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Karthik tried multiple AI tools to create this presentation. He ended up building it manually.😅
This week’s Friday Collective at Chennai Marketers & Founders wasn’t just another session on AI or product marketing. Karthik Pasupathy Ramachandran connected the two in a way that challenged how many of us think about execution.
One idea stayed with me throughout the session:
AI can accelerate execution, but it can’t replace clarity.
Karthik broke down product marketing beyond positioning and messaging. He spoke about understanding the product deeply, listening to sales calls, creating persona-specific narratives, enabling sales with the right collateral, and, most importantly, ensuring everyone in the company speaks the same language about the product.
At one point, he casually shared that he had experimented with multiple AI tools to generate the presentation deck for the session. After trying different approaches, he eventually opened Google Slides and built it himself.
That wasn’t a criticism of AI, it was a reminder that while AI is excellent at accelerating research, workflows, and first drafts, it still needs human judgment, context, and clear thinking to create something truly meaningful.
The session also sparked a great discussion around AI workflows. So much so that several attendees requested a follow-up session where Karthik would demonstrate his end-to-end AI workflow live, from building context to creating reusable skills and workflows.
Looks like our next Friday Collective is already in the making. 👀
Thank you, Karthik Pasupathy Ramachandran, for an insightful session that sparked some fantastic conversations.
Dilip Kumar and I can’t wait to host the follow-up AI workflow session. More details soon!
Stay tuned, we’ll be announcing the AI workflow deep dive soon.
At one point today, I thought I was going to spend three hours alone at a coffee shop.
Today reminded me why we started @DoingThingsAIHq the way we did.
From day one, our goal wasn’t to build the biggest AI community. It was to build a community of people who genuinely love getting their hands dirty building, experimenting, and shipping with AI.
That’s why almost every event we’ve hosted has been a closed-door gathering. We value quality of conversations over the number of attendees.
The idea was inspired by @1997harkirat and After Office Hours sessions he hosts in AI Learn Circle in Bengaluru. Seeing those meetups made me wonder, “Why not Chennai?”
Today was our first Build & Blend, an after-office-hours AI building session in Chennai.
I reached Third Wave Coffee, Adyar, excited to meet everyone. But one by one, the people who had shown interest messaged saying they couldn’t make it.
For a moment, I thought the evening might not happen.
I texted @kamalikaPoddar, my go-to buddy when it comes to building the AI community in Chennai, and told her I’d stay till 10 PM anyway.
A few minutes later, she walked in.
Soon after, Sudharsanan Kirubanandhan joined us.
As we were deep into building and discussing AI projects, Babu Christopher Donbosco Yuwa P., who were seated at the next table, noticed what we were working on. They struck up a conversation, joined us, and became part of the community.
Later in the evening, S Gowtham Raj Mohamed Haneefa joined us as well.
What started with uncertainty turned into one of the most meaningful evenings we’ve had.
Looking back, this was already our 4th offline event in less than two months. Every event has reinforced the same belief: when you bring together the right people, meaningful things happen.
If someone tells me Chennai isn’t excited about AI, I’ll disagree.
People showed up after a full day of work, not for a keynote, not for networking, but simply to build, learn, exchange ideas, and spend time with others equally passionate about AI.
Those conversations over coffee are where ideas take shape, collaborations begin, and communities grow.
Sometimes, all it takes is showing up and trusting the process.
The next decade won’t just be about building AI agents.
It will be about building for AI agents.
Every major technology shift creates a new infrastructure layer. The internet did. Mobile did. AI agents will too.
We’ll need:
• Identity and permissions for agents.
• Memory they can trust.
• Safe payment rails.
• Observability when things fail.
• Reputation between agents.
• Legal and financial infrastructure for machine-to-machine transactions.
The companies that define this era may not build the smartest agent.
They’ll build the rails that every agent depends on.
The question is no longer, “How do I build an AI agent?”
It’s “What does every AI agent need to operate at scale?”
That’s where the next generation of billion-dollar companies will emerge.
There is a quiet joy in holding a mic.
For a brief moment, thoughts become words, and words become shared experiences. The adrenaline is real, but so is the calm that follows when you speak with intention.
I’m learning to enjoy these moments not to be heard, but to connect, reflect, and contribute.
One conversation at a time. 🎤
I want to talk about a walk in the park. It feels good to walk and experience the breeze and seeing different people around me. Nature make you feel grounded.
So take some free time and go for a walk and relax. You live once, so live well.
=================
But this what chatGPT tells me to post:😅
A simple walk in the park reminded me of something we often forget.
Feeling the breeze, watching people go about their day, and being surrounded by nature has a way of grounding you. For a little while, the constant rush fades, and you’re simply present.
We spend so much time chasing the next milestone that we sometimes forget to pause and appreciate the moment we’re in.
Take some time for yourself. Go for a walk. Leave your phone in your pocket. Breathe, observe, and relax.
You only live once—so don’t just live. Live well.
From Top 50 to Top 10. What a journey.🏌️
Super stoked to be recognized as one of the Top 10 Product Marketing Mentors on ADPList (April–June 2026).
I'm grateful to everyone who chose to spend their time learning with me. Every mentorship session was a conversation where I learned just as much as I shared. Thank you for trusting me with your questions, ideas, and career journeys.
A special thanks to @felixleezd and the entire @ADPList team for building a platform that makes mentorship accessible across the world and creates opportunities for mentors and mentees to grow together.
This recognition is a reminder that the best way to learn is by helping others.
Looking forward to many more conversations and helping more marketers build products that people love. 💙
