Even though Fern knew Stark could shrug off injuries that would level most people and that he’d probably be doing push ups by morning.. the sight of him battered and broken still shattered her heart. She felt a deep pang of guilt for not being there when he needed her, especially since he repeatedly risked his life to protect her whenever she was in danger. Fern had always worried like this, her fear of losing the people she loved most ran bone deep. This man... Stark really needed to start taking better care of himself.

@LightingXack64 @BasedLEDA I'm not too sure. Even with her having seen Eisen, she's probably still got reasonable alarm painted on her face. Doubly so because Stark isn't a dwarf with natural affinity to toughness. He's so painfully mortal here. If not for Genau pointing Methode to Stark...
