I fully recognize that I don’t know everything, nobody can be right 100% of the time. I believe in experts, scientists, consensus, traditional sources of academia and people who have spent years learning about things I know nothing about. I’m willing to be proven wrong by them.
I’ll be glad to see Hamlin win, but he might want to burn it down during the celebration. Winning by 10 seconds makes me worry about the final tech inspection.
Hocevar just needed more time before getting a cup ride. He doesn’t have the maturity to know how to handle the speed he has. There’s a big difference between being too aggressive and just being a sloppy driver.

@Kallanne@jason_paladino@DenimsTV I appreciate the civil debate. I just feel while fair use is very necessary, it still needs to be fair for the content creators as well. The trade off for the reactor is to direct people to the original creator if they want to see the original work.
@Kallanne@jason_paladino@DenimsTV Right, but the reason it’s intended for those things is to make sure nobody else profits from the creator’s work? Viewers are money. Criticism is fine, in fact vital. And you could argue she changed it, But she urged viewers to watch the unchanged content elsewhere.
@Kallanne@jason_paladino@DenimsTV Just because she said it late doesn’t change the intent. The intent was to direct would be viewers/money away from his version of the original content. She couldn’t know if others would make the same efforts to transform the original work.
@ChockyHughes@ASVPMarcos@jason_paladino@DenimsTV Well then that is a hell of a precedent to set. How can any content creator protect their work? So someone can take any paywalled content she has and profit off it as long as they pause every little bit and say a few words?
@Kallanne@jason_paladino@DenimsTV That is an important part, and I think people can argue back and forth if something is transformative. Where I disagree with the ruling is the market substitute part. Directing views/money away from the creator towards herself or anyone else. It was done openly with malice.
@ASVPMarcos@jason_paladino@DenimsTV Sure, lol. But reasonable people can question a ruling and debate the ramifications, right? But you’re right, at the end of the day nobody’s opinion matters. Thanks for a mostly respectful discussion.
@ASVPMarcos@jason_paladino@DenimsTV Piracy is a violation of federal law. She just told her viewers who felt uncomfortable giving him views to view it elsewhere, critiquing or not. Most reactors at the very least promote the original creator. Her goal was to deny him views
@Weylandtv@ASVPMarcos@jason_paladino@DenimsTV Yup. Just didn’t cut that part out. Point remains the same, even college kids know you can’t just openly pirate or promote pirating content. Even if everyone does it.
@ASVPMarcos@jason_paladino@DenimsTV Right, I agree with that part of it. But isn’t the main point of copyright to protect against others making money from your original content? When she urged her viewers to give basically anyone else their view of his content, isn’t that against the very nature of copyright?
@appodlachia Doesn’t it hurt content creators when their copyrighted material can be streamed by someone telling their viewers to consume said material anywhere but it’s original source? Regardless of any feelings about either, doesn’t this defeat the purpose of a copyright?
Bryce Mitchell on Trump's White House UFC fight:
Our government is desecrating its role in society by entertaining sports. Our government is to protect and serve the people. Our tax dollars and resources are funding this operation. The government is supposed to protect us, not entertain us.
