I am proud and honored to lead the team of exceptional professionals at Wake Forest University's Office of Personal and Career Development (OPCD) for the past 14 years.
Employers and grad schools rate recruiting @WakeForest as outstanding & report that Wake Forest produces top talent with a high work ethic and key competencies/skills - analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and collaboration. @WFUOPCD
When recruiting talent from colleges and universities, employers prioritize several factors, but media rankings are not one of them. In a Gallup-Strada survey, about 9 out of 10 employers do NOT focus on college rankings when making hiring decisions.
@WakeForest@WFUOPCD
Employers are much more interested in a university's past success in producing talented graduates who are able to excel in their careers, the specific skills and abilities of its students and graduates, and its connections to the community and industry.
We need 36 gifts - of ANY size - before 11:59 pm to unlock $25,000 for the @WFUOPCD Career Readiness Fund! Please support our mission for every @WakeForest student to be career-ready. https://t.co/oqboLqMHDy
I just made a donation to @BBAFsavelives to provide life-giving swim lessons for marginalized young people. You can make a difference too - join me and give! https://t.co/P2VAoRO8SH
We're grateful for this wonderful story from @MikeNietzel@Forbes about the new $30 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to support @character_wfu at @WakeForest and build a national higher education network to educate character.
