Still buzzing from @Token2049 Singapore 🎬
Some events you attend. Others stay with you. A week of new faces, big ideas and conversations that kept going long after the booth closed. And a booth phone that never stopped ringing, as guests called in to share their vision for the future of Web3.
Behind it all:
@paulineshangett, our CSO
@massfromcrypto, our Director of Strategic Partnerships
@teopeperone, our Head of Growth
Also starring: @NOWNodes, our infrastructure partner, and its CBDO @MoeZahwy@coolwallet, our partner behind the co-branded cold wallets we gave away
@paybis and @INPUT_global, who co-hosted our side event with us
@mpost_io, who organised the HSC panel discussion
The @NOWPayments_io team, who's been with us at the booth.
On camera in our media zone, for interviews and panel discussions: @BingXOfficial, @BanxaOfficial, @WalletConnect, @RocketXexchange, @aztecnetwork, @injective, @soniclabs, @USDDecentralize, @Trezor, @MetaMask, @NEARProtocol, and @StellarOrg
And many thanks to @ramiafarrage for bringing our panels and booth interviews to life, and Token2049 team for a week we won’t forget.

@DonWedge DOGE made our altcoins to watch this fall list. Swaps on ChangeNOW were flat in early October vs late July, about 1.04x. Steady holders, no panic
@coinbureau Visa and Mastercard in the same stablecoin pilot is a fun twist. We compared both in our breakdown: Visa is ahead on live products, Mastercard is building for later https://t.co/jJ5wqM5s3p
@CoinDesk@HSBC Everyday payments are the hard part. In our Visa vs Mastercard breakdown we found real stablecoin payments are still about 0.02% of global payment volume, so 3.3M users is a big step
Why would a business pay $40 for a SWIFT transfer when a stablecoin transfer costs less than a cent?
The tech is cheaper. But habits run deep, and the real reason is trust.
“Everyone is making decisions based on how much they trust the particular counterparty and the cost.”
— @faraj_abut, Senior Advisor Middle East at @StellarOrg, in an interview during TOKEN2049
That trust is exactly what Visa and Mastercard have built over decades. We also look at the roadblocks to global adoption that Eric Chen (@ericinjective), CEO of @injective, and Tyler Bond from @near_intents discussed in their interviews during #TOKEN2049.
Visa or Mastercard: which path will win?
Compare both strategies on our blog. https://t.co/YWhNTAyRv9
@AdriansCryptoo@zelcore_io Hi! Yes, ChangeNOW is up and running as usual. If you’re planning a swap and have any questions, our support team is available at [email protected] . Have a great weekend!
A wallet that could hold 70+ chains, but couldn’t swap them!
In 2021, @zelcore_io was scaling fast. Users could store assets across dozens of blockchains, but to trade they had to leave the wallet.
Building an exchange in-house meant KYC, AML, and licensing, which clashed with Zelcore’s non-custodial, zero-knowledge model. So they integrated the ChangeNOW API instead.
Five years later, ChangeNOW is the wallet’s most-used swap route.
Do you use the same tool for many years, or do you prefer to experiment and observe changes?

$INJ is the native coin of @injective, a Layer 1 built for finance.
It powers staking, governance and weekly burn auctions, where 60% of dApp fees are used to buy back and burn INJ. Now $INJ is heading toward Wall Street: 21Shares, Canary and REX-Osprey have filed for U.S. INJ ETFs, including a staked version.

Crypto removed the middleman. It didn’t remove the middleman’s job.
As our Head of Growth, @teopeperone, puts it: today, clients are expected to handle networks, gas fees, private keys, and security on their own. That’s a lot to ask from someone who just wants to send money.
That same challenge was at the heart of our TOKEN2049 panel, where industry leaders discussed why crypto UX still falls behind the technology, and what good UX looks like when something goes wrong. Their conclusion: the focus should be shifted from "more features" to smoother user experience.
Thank you to Sean Moynihan of @BanxaOfficial, Krishna Kumar of @RocketXexchange, Dayana Aleksandrova of @WalletConnect, and Harry Bridge of @aztecnetwork for their in-depth insights.
