This is good. It means factories and jobs are moving out of China to other countries. It creates local wealth and benefits. It creates inter-dependence. It spreads manufacturing know how and investments. Much better than having everything done in China. This is precisely why we tariff Chinese goods. It is the outcome we want. This article presents it as a win for China and loss for the U.S. Actually it is a win for the U.S. For China it is a short term win for their capitalists but loss for their working class.

The better framing would be that it is a “transfer of wealth from the young (or from their parents if their parents paid for it) to the woke liberal elites”. Mr Ackman donated so much money to these universities, especially Harvard, in the past. Good to see him more enlightened now. He is a little slow but he is a good man and a tenacious man. So good to have Ackman on our side now.

Why are you revealing American missile inventories (specifically JASSM-ER cruise missiles) based on anonymous sources? You are enabling treasonous behavior l. If people like you were around George Washington during the Revolutionary War, the British would know Washington was severely short of gun powder and he would likely have been defeated.

China’s one child policy did not start until 1980. Before that people have larger families. Greatly improved life expectancy also contributed to population growth. Each generation is 30 years not 50 years. Comparable population growth rates happened concurrently in many other developing countries. It is not unique to China.
