If a someone abuses people while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, that person is STILL an abuser.
If that person is attractive and talented, they are STILL an abuser.
Online abuse, bullying and trolling is a common experience for disabled people. More than half of us have witnessed negative comments about disabled people online.
We aren’t trying to 'police' comedy, or speak on behalf of all disabled people.
But it’s important to talk about the real-life consequences of language like this.
TUC research shows that 4/5 women do not report sexual harassment so these figures are the tip of the iceberg.

New release from the ONS shows bullying, harassment and sexual harassment are ongoing issues.
Their data shows 1/4 of those who had experienced sexual harassment said it had happened at their place of work.
