Unless you’re on a bumper salary, it’s more or less impossible to pay off your student loan under the current system.

It’s therefore essentially just a graduate tax BUT only for graduates whose parents aren’t rich enough to pay for uni fees and accommodation.

Student loans is a tax & theft. Forced to pay 9% of your earnings over 25k which is not a graduate wage & you will never pay it back because of the interest. Effectively those who dont have wealthy families to pay it back quickly will forever earn 9% less. Its theft & a scam
