Dan Hurley on the officiating 👀
“It’s hard to ref that game. We both played so hard… If I could have those three guys ref every game the rest of my career, I would sleep well at night.”
I mean PK and the entire ESPN production for NHL is so abysmal
Reusing the same graphic regarding missing the playoffs as the last broadcast
PK’s only “analysis” is shoot the puck?
Embarrassing.

One thing I learned this week. Of the 28 games in NBA history of a player scoring 65 or more, only one has occurred in a win against a team with a winning record. These huge scoring games in the NBA typically have some unique circumstances around them. Was there some stat chasing at the end of the game? Yes. It’s hardly the first time and it certainly won’t be the last. Bam has been a part of a lot of great team things but an individual opportunity like this is likely a once in a career thing. The man’s name goes into the record books and that can’t be taken away by superfluous debate about the circumstances. Good for him and I appreciate Spoelstra’s candor in this answer.
Colin Cowherd on the criticism Bam is receiving for scoring 83 points:
“Bam Adebayo scored 83 points last night. Everybody is attacking him. This is what we do in America. The minute there’s success we have to tear everybody down. 83 is 83. He’s an excellent basketball player. When Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points his team was fouling the Knicks to get extra possessions. When Kobe scored 81 against an awful Raptors team, the Lakers led by 15 with 4:30 left and Kobe scored another 11. Bam had 31 in the 1st! 62 after 3 quarters! It was totally legitimate! Every star in this league has had the chance to play the Wizards and they don’t score 83!”
