A friend reached out and said:
“Thonia, I want you to join my dev team. I want to bombard you with tasks to accelerate your growth.”
I was genuinely excited and felt seen.
It reminded me that people are watching the little efforts you sometimes don't even appreciate.
You may not see much progress yet, but someone else might be seeing it.
House hunting in Nigeria shouldn’t feel like a gamble.
If you could change ONE thing about the process, what would it be?
◽Agent fees
◽Fake/misleading listings
◽Inspection fees
◽Hidden charges
◽Poor property management
◽Other
Everyone talks about how Nigerian tenants get scammed.
Nobody talks about how landlords get scammed too.
You own the property, spend a fortune keeping it in good shape, and somehow, you're still losing money.
Here's how the system works against you
The gap in house hunting “HOMXE” is built to fix
Every renter can testify that house search has always been an unfriendly experience for most people in Nigeria.
And it’s not because there are no apartments, the process has always been a stressful one.
Finding an agent you can trust is already hard enough, many will take your money and still show you a wrong house. Imagine paying 10k just to inspect a house with promises that it will be what you want and it turns out to be a mud house or nothing even close.
Add to that the stress of moving from one place to another, spending on transport, or trekking under the hot sun to see an apartment that doesn’t fit what you are looking for.
HomXe changes all of that, you can now view property without paying any inspection fee for each property you view. With our search filters, you can look for duplexes, bungalows, self-cons, and more, in your preferred location.
All by scrolling on your phone, in the comfort of your space. No more trekking with agents or spending on transport just to see one house
HomXe also reduces the money spent in house hunting. We connect you directly with trusted landlords and property owners so you skip the extra third party charges.
In the next few weeks, HomXe will launch in 4 cities in Nigeria. We will be revealing these cities soon.
Follow us so you'll be first to know.
Rent shouldn't consume a person's entire earning power.
If people are spending most of their income just to keep a roof over their heads, something is definitely wrong somewhere.
We need to have more conversations about making homeownership a realistic option and not just an aspiration.
Weekends are for relaxing, making plans, and looking forward to what's next.
Speaking of what's next?
HomXe is almost live, and we're counting down the days until we can welcome you to a smarter, simpler way to discover your perfect space.
The wait is almost over.
Stay close, you won't want to miss this.

Happy New Month from the Homxe team
Happy Birthday to Miss Deborah.
Wishing you a beautiful year filled with growth, success, and happiness.
We’re glad to have you on the team and we appreciate your outstanding contribution to the growth of this project.
This is a brilliant idea! 😊
We’re working tirelessly to bring this innovative idea to life, and we’re currently in the testing phase.
This is exactly what we’re building at Homxe, and we’re hoping to go live soon.
Our mission is simple: to make buying and selling properties easier, simpler, and more accessible to everyone.
This tweet perfectly explains some of the features we’re building at Homxe.
I firmly believe that people don't become smarter simply cos they get older; they mostly accumulate more info and experience, which they use to interpret and make sense of new info.
There's a difference between dumb and uninformed. Children are uninformed. Most humans are dumb😏
@n_chimerenma There's a flip side to this... Living😔
It also takes bravery to live, against all odds.
I mean, the mechanical process of opening and closing the eyes, the efforts to smile, and find pleasure in the little things...
This is an issue I’ve observed around my circle too.
All the couples I know personally that are above 30, struggled or are struggling to birth.
For me I am currently working on my diet and have adjusted my dating/marriage range.
Before I didn’t care the age of the lady (I typically dated older women), but now it’s 25-28 ideally.
Can go younger if I see one mentally mature at that age.
