@Boenau You can want streets to be safer for bikes
AND
for those bikes to be used and parked responsibly in a way that doesn't then make pedestrian streets unsafe or unusable for other people.
Why does it have to be either no bikes or bikes parked across the pavement?
@KieraDiss TFL pet rules are clear.
Regardless of what you personally think of dogs, this is in the interest of public safety. But just like with open bottles of alcohol, people seem to do what they want, selfishly making public transport an uncomfortable space for others.
@NunYaBizness11B@vkookies__tea@quesadaaa_ If you're not ready to be supportive of your partner, you really shouldn't be in a relationship. Telling people to grow up when you display childish opinions is actually ironic. I wish no woman a man who is this selfish.
@jacksimony@LevineJonathan@HamawyForNJ Self determination at the cost of the self determination of the people of the land Israel occupied????? What hypocrisy
@EvieTerrible@Anglo_Angeland@LBC@NickFerrariLBC Then get your gov to stop extracting damn near everything out of them for the gain of western countries and companies. Stop overhauling their democratically elected leaders and destabilising them when they try to nationalise their resources. Then maybe we can talk.
@AshleaG123@LBC@NickFerrariLBC Moot point, the kids have gone home complaining to their parents about the behaviour. The response makes it clear it's not contextually acceptable. Stop jumping through hoops to try and justify this.
@BenWillett29410@cosmicvnus She might be 19 now, but what he did is illegal and has happened multiple times in this sport (re: max verstappen and his 22 yr old public gf when he was 16).
It needs to be called out, so measures can be put in place to better protect children in the sport going forward.
@LBC@KemiBadenoch Was waiting for her to mention at any point the genocide Zionists are carrying out against Palestinians, as something that needs action ๐ค
Obviously really good because it makes it safer for more people to speak but I rolled my eyes a little at "it's always been the artist's role to speak out." I mean, yes it has but where were all these "artists speaking out" when Kneecap was arrested and Bob Vylan was being dropped from festivals?
It's been two years of Israeli genocide and most "artists" only started "speaking out" literally this month for the FIRST TIME. Hundreds, if not thousands, of people have been fired, slandered and brutalized while waiting for "artists" to "speak truth to power." Come on.
@IMissHitchSlaps@Keir_Starmer You agreed to it when you enjoyed the economic prosperity of stolen wealth from the homelands of others and you agreed to it again when you did nothing to stop your country meddling in and destabilising the governments of others
@koshercockney Is no-one here going to make the distinction he's talking about preaching to individuals who don't have the means or money that they do to make individual changes in their life. He's not talking about calling attention to a genocide or the government breaking it's own laws.
Sally Rooney: "Activists who disrupt the flow of weapons to a genocidal regime may violate petty criminal statutes, but they uphold a far greater law and a more profound human imperative: to protect a people and culture from annihilation."

When the animals are in a situation that's down to man-made global warming I don't think the "no intervention" rule should apply. You can't save the baby gazelle about to eaten by a lion, but penguins trapped & dying because we melted the iceberg is a different story.
I wish more people knew this: Palestinians were Jewish; some became (+ remain) Christian, and others Muslims. The myth of Jewish โreturnโ is predicated on displacing/killing not "Arab" occupiers, but ancient ancestors, whose connection to Palestine goes back to the Bronze Age.
