Obviously really good because it makes it safer for more people to speak but I rolled my eyes a little at "it's always been the artist's role to speak out." I mean, yes it has but where were all these "artists speaking out" when Kneecap was arrested and Bob Vylan was being dropped from festivals?

I wish more people knew this: Palestinians were Jewish; some became (+ remain) Christian, and others Muslims. The myth of Jewish “return” is predicated on displacing/killing not "Arab" occupiers, but ancient ancestors, whose connection to Palestine goes back to the Bronze Age.
