Shortly after 11:30pm on Friday, March 6, 2026, an EF-0 tornado occurred in a line of severe thunderstorms. The tornado began in Shawnee, KS and ended in Kansas City, MO shortly before Westport around 11:45pm. The majority of damage was done to trees. #kswx #mowx

The majority of modern day smartphones can easily perform well enough to capture crisp, clear pictures of the Northern Lights. In this thread, I will show you what settings I use to photograph the Northern Lights with my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra! This technique also applies to any modern iPhone, although your settings may be slightly different than mine. @spacewxwatch
