In the past year, I have gone back and forth with the tenacious peer review process of the Taylor & Francis publication guidelines. I want to extend profound gratitude to @WomeninPhoto, especially to its cofounders Anna and Maria for urging me to submit

So this would mean that the mobile money tax alone was 4.8 billion XAF in 2024. This is in addition to the tax on transaction fees.
What has government done with that money?
Note that this tax was increased again in 2025 and it will keep increasing if we don’t oppose it. #endmobilemoneytax

A Southern Cameroons Leadership Summit was recently held in Johannesburg, South Africa. The summit, organised by the Southern Cameroons Caucuses (an SCA initiative), aimed to strategise a resolution to the eight-year conflict in the former British Southern Cameroons by uniting pro-independence, pro-federalist, and civil society groups. Formed after a survey indicated support for collaboration, the Caucuses sought to identify areas for joint action like prisoner advocacy and diplomacy. Reactions to the initiative have been mixed, with cautious optimism internationally and some internal scepticism. https://t.co/4KWKGZQROX
