5 a.m Start in the dark!
@PaquetteMike & I successfully lead 27+ men from his sales team to the summit of Pike Peak!
For many of these young men— it was their first ever hiking experience! A 14er!!
A year ago Mike & I began discussing this vision for a Company offsite that would be both impactful & unforgettable.
It started with Keynotes, then hiking through red rocks & finished at the top of the mountain.
Hosting this “expedition style” off site was a vision of mine — knowing that teams (people) bond best through shared challenge and overcoming adversity. That they did this weekend!
Throughout the weekend everything started to line up perfectly. We pivoted when we needed to pivot & trusted the Lord was in control. From giving the guys what they needed to hear during keynotes & breakout sessions to keeping us safe above 14,000 ft.
After hearing the men’s testimonials the last night we knew this trip far exceeded even our highest expectations.
Big ups to @PaquetteMike on his phenomenal Servant leadership from the very start to the finish. It’s not easy leading 30 strong willed men! It’s no surprise to me why this sales team is the top of the company. They asked phenomenal questions, respected leadership & seized every opportunity to grow. A testament to what @PaquetteMike has built!
What I love most about this team is at the center of it all is Jesus. It’s not often you find 30+ on fire Christ followers meeting for a business company offsite*
Amazing!!
My man @zachhomol_ is the GOAT.
Not a day goes by I don't thank God he brought Zach into my life.
He lit a fire in me 5/6 years ago that's never gone out!
If you hire ONE COACH it should be Zach.
Man cannot lose & the Holy Spirit is so present in him.
Love you homie!
My best buddy is growing old
He’s been with me my entire adult life
From the coal mines to opening the gym
He sits at the front front door of the gym and greets everyone as they come in
Goes on all the camping and road trips
He’s co hosted mens retreats with me and been there for many when they needed it most
He’s an anchor for me... A steady soul when I need it
A sweet boy who is loved by everyone who knows him
Yesterday Spike had a seizure
He’s still with us today, thankfully
A lot of sadness in our home as we watch him grow old
Extra loving and treats
My Momma had my back when the small town community was questioning all my decisions
She always believed in me
Even when I gave her little reason to believe she always saw something in me
Episode 100 with the legend & GOAT @zachhomol_ !!

What questions, discussion, topics would you like us to cover?!!
No guy besides my dad has had a BIGGER IMPACT on my success & life than Zach.
He's the GOAT!! 🐐 🐐
What is often missed, especially to those on the outside, about “Do Hard Things” and @zachhomol_ message is they thing they gotta do the exact things Zach is doing, and if they can’t they’re not good enough or not welcomed.
This ain’t true, inside. DHT is do hard things to your ability, and with encouragement and brotherhood alongside you. Celebrating with you and offering a hand up when you’re down!
Was on my typical neighborhood walk the other day when the old man who sits in the garage stops me.

"what do you do for a living? Seems like I only see you walking around with your shirt off"
- I was left a massive trust fund and just riding that out
We both laugh then I carry on with my walk and he heads back up to the garage. I don’t think he took me serious… but if so there’s going to be some great rumors spread around town.
I didn’t care much to explain to him what I do… If I’m being honest most of my days are walking around the neighborhood with my shirt off. Or at the park.
I’ve created a simple life for myself over the years. I made a couple decisions back in 2019 that I’m reaping the fruits for now.
In 2020… my wife and I decided to get rid of the Luxury suv and to stay put in our small little home in town. This alone would save us + $5,000 per month.
There’s many decisions I’ve made in my business that mirror this approach.
-Keeping overhead low as possible.
-Hiring support that buys back more of my time (even if it meant less net profits)
-Not caring to scale to the millions (which would mean less freedom of time- at least in the short term +5-10/years. Which are the prime years of my life and families development)
-Being content in a certain tax bracket

The decisions we make today = Tomrrow’s Life.
Many people are getting into business to buy back time…
But end up getting caught in the web of money making and scaling
Enough is never enough
It’s the same rat race… but it takes many people years to realize it.
HERES HOW YOU GET THE LIFE YOU *REALLY* WANT
-Set your metric of success. Clearly define it. Most are chasing the cultures metrics of success
-Set healthy boundaries on how you’ll go about it
-Stay grounded in your decisions. Think down stream
-Stop comparing success to success. It’s foolish to compare net worth when you priorities are net TIME
DO HARD THINGS
Live life on your way
I saw this picture the other day on here. It captures my life perfectly
My Momma leading breath work for the women at the Do Hard Things confrence
