One of our members of Willow class has used his voice to stand up for change. What a positive choice! We know we can all make a difference when we speak up and show we care.
Letters like this can make a real difference. @Hasbro - please take some time to read it. One of our Year 4 pupils has some feedback for you. He has taken the time to express it politely, respectfully and positively. We hope you can help. Thank you!
Springfield children have all been fully engrossed in their PE lessons. This half term KS1 are busy practising agility, balance and co-ordination (ABCs), whilst KS2 are enjoying Hockey. Athletes in the making! #getactive
Thank you @StLawrenceCEPr1 for sharing your fantastic art work. We loved them all so much that Birch class spent the afternoon creating their very own.
Such concentration! Yr5 have been working hard re-telling a lovely story called 'Taking Flight'. Have a look at all that detail on our story maps! We have been exercising our descriptive skills and bringing the story to life! #year5#year5writing#year5literacy#storytellers
In Yr5 we have been learning about line graphs - so today we collected our own data and plotted our own! We have found out that many of us are the exact same height and that there are 20cm between our tallest and shortest member! #year5#year5maths#pamaths#mathematicians
Last week year two enjoyed their weekly P.E lesson. They all loved their very first badminton lesson and are all looking forward to a whole term of it in year three.
We couldn't let the year end without some kind of Sports Day. Birch class has had a morning full of sports day games and even managed to get their teachers to join in with all the fun!
Year 2 have also been super busy with all their amazing home learning. Last week we read all about how chocolate is made and then designed our very own chocolate bars. Check out one of the adverts that was made. #crosscurricularlearning
Check out another amazing video made at home, by one of our yr2 students. He made all the resources, wrote the poem, chose the background music and presented it all by himself. #homelearning
Check out some of year two's amazing, science home learning. They have been growing various plants (beans, watercress and even flowers), observing them daily and sharing their finding with one another. I wonder what changes will occur in the next few days.
Almost every book I own was written by a black author. I love the way black people tell stories. My favourite book by a white author is Liverpool Annie by Maureen Lee. Let’s just say a 6 year old has no business reading that book at that age, but it’s amazing 👌🏾
