Akechi will still show up in third semester because of Akira, just without the 2/2 scene. And the stuff with being down to off Kamoshida is main story without your input, you can't not do it

Ren is this way regardless of your choice. + The accomplice ending (in game at least) is not morally ambiguous in my mind, it's straight up evil. They're both more ambiguous than Makoto tho

@Axzercus And that's still not on Yuri 😭. It is really sad that Aleks got that treatment absolutely, but it is not like Yuri encouraged it. It should not be an expectation that VA's have to bundle up their emotions upon losing both a beloved character AND at the end of the day, a job.

Still absolutely love most of the gameplay, characters and story but I do think the remake has some things it can improve around the rougher edges. (Hot springs scene, the beauty pageant of the girls, Yosuke's romance route and so on)

My biggest problem with persona 4 is that it perpetuates the things it's criticising. It brings up excellent points about toxic masculinity, the sexualisation of minors and gender expectations. And then the next scene, it is actively doing those things without reflection.

people then trying to say that persona 4 is actually progressive in a lot of ways is something I just can't agree with. Because for every door to useful discussion it opens, it smashes about three in your face.
