Apart from @MTNNG, @Airtel, and @GloWorld, these terrible Nigerian telecoms companies, I also pay about £72 monthly for @elonmusk’s @Starlink, even @Starlink only the service still works only sporadically.
Nigerians are being forced to pay premium prices for substandard, unreliable digital access in a country where communication is now essential for survival, business, and civic participation.
It is time to fight to reclaim our digital communication rights from these subscriber looters. Enough of dropped calls, vanishing data, throttled speeds, and endless excuses. #TakeItBack #AACOurParty #RevolutionNow
THE ASSASSINATION PLOT AGAINST ME, AS ELABORATED BY CHIZOROM HARRISON OFOEGBU AKA "@IJELESPEAKS2" IS NOT AN ISOLATED INCIDENT AND IT CONFIRMS A PATTERN
The assassination plot against me, as revealed by Harrison Ofoegbu, also known as “@IjeleSpeaks2,” is not an isolated incident. It is part of a consistent and deeply troubling pattern of targeted intimidation and violence aimed at silencing dissent and crushing voices that challenge injustice.
This revelation affirms what I have long known and repeatedly stated, that there exists an organized effort to intimidate, harm, and, if possible, eliminate those of us who refuse to bow to oppression. These threats are neither random nor accidental; they are deliberate, calculated, and sustained.
I first met Harrison Ofoegbu "Ijele" when I arrived to attend Nnamdi Kanu's trial at the Federal High Court in Abuja and the DSS and the Nigeria Police Force @policeng prevented me from attended, he confronted me outside the courtroom accusing me of all sorts, but in my most democratic mannerism, I spoke to him calmly and we later became friends in the city, and later it came to my attention that some religious leaders had planned to eliminate him (Chukwuemeka Harrison Ofoegbu) accusing him of cybercrime, first they arrested him in Abuja sent him to prison on remand and later transferred him to Lagos when Barrister Femi Falana SAN was mobilized by Adeyanju Deji and myself, he was granted bail but his bail condition were deliberately structured that he could not fulfil the bail for months, this was in 2024, that had other plans, which was to eliminate him transferring him to Awka prison, having filed a new charge against him at the Federal High Court in Awka, a move that, by all indications, was designed to end his life. Tickets had already been arranged on Air Peace for four warders to escort him on what could have been a fatal journey. I refused to back down, and together we resisted. In the end, we prevailed; we saved a life.
What Ijele has revealed is not an isolated incident. It reflects a pattern I have known all too well. I have personally faced these assassination attempts. Nigeria Police Force officers have shot at me at close range. I have been beaten nearly to death in efforts to silence me. My own brother, Felix Olajide Sowore, was killed in September 2021. In the aftermath, a social media influencer in Benin City, Jack Obinyan, who once appended “Buhari” to his name, was deployed in what appeared to be a cover-up effort, harassing my family under the guise of “ongoing investigations” and attempting to discredit legitimate concerns about the circumstances of the killing. The incident was widely reported, yet manipulated to shield those responsible.
This pattern of violence and intimidation against me did not begin today. It dates back to my days at the University of Lagos during our days fighting against military dictatorship. On one occasion in 1993, as we were exiting campus, a MOPOL 20 unit led by a Commissioner, Jinadu, confronted us in a situation that could easily have turned deadly, a student beside me, Festus from El Kanemi Hall was shot in the stomach and the bullat which had been meant for me stop short of shattering his spinal cord, another student activist, Erubami the Welfare Secretary in the New Halls Complex was shot in the buttocks.
Later, on the eve of my final year examinations in 1994, elements within the Abacha regime, working with authorities at UNILAG and the Lagos State Police Command under Police Commissioner James Danbaba, mobilized cult gangs to eliminate me. The attack was led by Frank Odera, aka "Hitman," a Mobile Police officer who was also a student of Estate Management in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences (my faculty mate) at the time.
,
Over the years, powerful actors have attempted similar tactics. When direct action became difficult due to exposure, the threats extended beyond me, targeting even others around me.
These were not random acts; they were calculated efforts to silence me, to force me into retreat, and to break my resolve as a public conscience and a revolutionary.
The recent revelations by @IjeleSpeaks2 should not be dismissed as mere outbursts. While he did not personally disclose to me the specifics of any plot, I have long been aware of repeated attempts on my life, and I have reason to believe such plans persist to this day.
But it is too late. The struggle for total liberation is already in motion. Nothing can stop it.
VIDEO: This was a video of a personal visit to @IjeleSpeaks2 in Ikoyi Prison in 2024
I have learned that the lawless Department of State Services (DSS) has arbitrarily and unlawfully detained a social media influencer known as Sarki @Waspapping_.
He was reportedly arrested over comments he made about the Israel–Iran war, particularly criticisms directed at the State of Israel over its egregious warmongering and crimes against humanity in Gaza and elsewhere.
No Nigerian citizen should be arrested or detained simply for expressing opinions about the actions of foreign governments or commenting on ongoing international conflicts. Freedom of expression must apply equally to discussions about global affairs and acts of war involving foreign interests.
The DSS must therefore immediately release Sarki @Waspapping_ and end this unlawful detention.
Nigeria cannot claim to be a democracy while citizens are arrested for expressing views on international events.

TRAGIC: TracyNither Nicolas Ohiri, the businesswoman arrested on the orders of Nigeria’s Works Minister David Umahi, has collapsed and been hospitalized in Abuja
I was informed this morning by Comrade Mamhud Abdul @AbdulMamhud01 that a magistrate sitting in Mararaba, near Abuja, has ordered that Comrade Namhud @AbdulMamhud01 be remanded in Keffi prison.
This decision comes despite the fact that he voluntarily returned from the United Kingdom to attend his trial.
The matter, which has been ongoing for some time, is said to have originated from a disagreement with a senior officer of the Nigeria Police Force (@PoliceNG), Deputy Police Commissioner Amabua Muhammed, who is alleged to have been exerting influence over the proceedings.
The case, which began in 2023, has become one of the most troubling examples of abuse linked to the Nigeria Police Force in recent times.
The Acting Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu (@TunjiDisu1), must discontinue this matter immediately, along with other cases involving police misconduct brought against conscientious citizens across Nigeria.

@official_Gegeh, listen carefully and understand this. Peter Obi @PeterObi has already been part of the failed establishment that has kept Nigeria struggling for years. Tinubu knows how to use him to distract Nigerian youths and to divide other people’s votes, just like he did in the 2023 presidential election. This is not speculation, it is history repeating itself. Nigerian youths need a candidate they can truly trust, someone who will fight for the people and not play into the hands of those who have failed us for decades. That candidate is Omoyele Sowore @sowore. If we want real change, if we want to stop the same old politics from destroying our future, it is time to stand up, speak out, campaign actively, and support Sowore. Joining this movement is not optional it is necessary because Nigeria cannot afford another disappointment. The time to act is now and Nigerians who care about their future must put their energy behind the candidate who will actually deliver.
Need 250k to get a laptop but this country is not helping matters, as you are saving up towards achieving something, the savings is saving your stomach and settle some other necessary bills 😔😔😔😔
Some people are jealous that their political leader is spineless, partyless, worships the demons that stole our resources & buried our future, saying sowore is a clout chaser after 30 years of activism against then most brutal regime & forces. Watch this! https://t.co/TEfgZaQxYd
