I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you.
I come from your future.
In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream.
Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them.
The promise was protection. The result is stagnation.
The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe.
I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has.
Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France?
Trust me. You don’t want to be France.
Lara Logan and Mr. McCabe did an excellent job connecting the pieces of the MMTLP story. I once believed it was only a matter of time before regulators stepped in. Years later, my family and other investors are still waiting.
We trusted the rules would be enforced. Instead, it feels as though ordinary investors were left to fight financial giants alone. This is David versus Goliath, and real families are living with the consequences.
President Trump and Vice President Vance: please help us get answers and accountability. We don’t need another promise of new rules. We need the rules already on the books enforced. @VP@POTUS
Greg McCabe, chairman and CEO of Next Bridge Hydrocarbons, breaks three and a half years of public silence on the extraordinary failures of U.S. market regulation and blatant corruption at FINRA and the SEC. McCabe describes unauthorized trading of company shares, massive naked short selling, and a devastating FINRA trading halt that froze assets of 124,000 shareholders. Despite receiving SEC approval for share registration after three years, short sellers have refused to settle. McCabe calls for transparency, accountability, and government intervention to protect retail investors.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:
If you're sending a patient to the ED, please don't tell them you're sending them for admission, CT scan, etc. You are sending them for evaluation. What that entails is up to me. Inappropriate expectations leads to much discontent.
Hi, ER Doc here.
I use this account to teach people about medical emergencies. It’s my birthday today and would love to hit 200K followers to be able to reach more people.
Can I get some follows and RTs to help me get there?
Oh my god, they might overturn #RoeVWade??
I don’t care what your political affiliation, it’s my uterus.
This will set women’s rights back and is beyond disturbing.
Is this really happening or did I wake up to some bizarre alternate universe?
It’s 2022 not 1922, right?
Nursing salary caps are crap. Instead of capping travel nurse salaries, pay full-time non-traveling nurses more. Cut the salary of administrators who can actually go to the bathroom when they need to & take lunch breaks, and give it to the people getting beat up in the trenches.
If you come to the ER wanting to know whether your cold symptoms are Covid, you are taking resources from those who are actually having medical emergencies. Unless you’re critically ill, find a Covid testing center or at home testing kit rather than using already overburdened ERs
