StorrieGlorrie, ClubChalamet, Simone, whatever tf you want to call her is a disgusting pos. That post about Harris and how it’s not realistic to have a plus size person film intimate scenes is fatphobic plain and simple. We should not be sharing our space with someone that has zero respect and I for one loathe the day she latched on to Connor. FREE EVERYONE FROM HER
justice is a cutie and anyone being nasty or racist towards him will genuinely feel it but at the same time i think people are allowed to feel disappointment that it wasn’t a plus size actor playing harris #nuance
i do love justice and i’m sure he’s gonna do a fantastic job and i’m not gonna allow any hate towards HIM at all it just sucks to see a chance for a non skinny character be taken away
@urbnistSherlock@hollanovholic He might but he also wouldn’t have had another choice either way, he made it pretty clear they weren’t giving him a bigger budget for s2 and most shows these days are about 8 episodes max
@franconedits I do think that Connor and Hudson might just be generally flirtier people? (based on their interactions with others) but I don’t think anything they did came across disrespectful for S1…but I’m from a very flirty, queer friendship group so my limits are probs different
@tonedeafandh0t I also find Shane’s journey really interesting cause I think it shows that there’s more than one way to make a difference and that everyone has their own path…you don’t have to be the first or the loudest
@tonedeafandh0t Yeah it’s pretty well established who the trail blazers are in the book. He’s obviously more than happy to support the cause and he is quietly shifting the needle - look at who him and Ilya are hiring for the hockey school - but he’s not throwing the first brick and that’s fine
I personally think Shane deprioritizing hockey is a good thing and i felt like that was going to be his character arc from the beginning. Shane prioritizes hockey/success + his reputation over everything else in his life to his own detriment. Choosing to go to Ottawa because that is what will make him happy instead of prioritizing his pay and being captain is kind of the pay off of him growing as a character and accepting who he is and what he wants. In a perfect world Shane wouldn’t have to sacrifice anything but it’s not a perfect world so this is a realistic happy ending for him.
