Is your art still gonna be vibrant in 5 years when everyone has HDR monitors?
Future proofing is more than storage. You also need to plan for how we’ll view art in the future
A few years down the line SDR work could look dull if everything else on the screen has more range
366 days. Happy anniversary @chaoticmaths it has been a great year! Thanks for putting out amazing work! Can’t wait to see what the future holds!….sorry for being a day late 😬…Twitter wouldn’t let me post the vids 👎

@Creggsbenedict1 Hot damn 1 whole year it’s so crazy to think about!!! Thank you so much for being here through it💕
You rock, love you and all awesome chaotics ^999
@chaoticmaths @fencemakerNFT This is a very valid point, HDR screens are incredible and there is no going back. I mean proper HDR, a quality OLED or decent 1000 nit+ LCD are way more impactful than the jump to 4K 👀
Top display has HDR, bottom doesn’t
On the bottom monitor you can see a lot of whites are blown out because they’re outside the displays color gamut
Consider the opposite. If I put an SDR video next to an HDR one (on HDR display) the SDR video will be noticeably less vibrant
