@GCCPrezMcNulty Are you serious about students' Christian formation? Then stop filling the sacred chapel pulpit with Creative Arts Camp Coordinators and Office Directors for World Relief. You owe it to the students to have real Bible teachers.

The point is not to damn these two books completely (well, maybe it is), but the bigger point is: the people who run Grove City, across the board, do not care about greatness and excellence. The bookstore's offerings are just one more indicator of what they really value.
In the bookstore, browsing, opened to random pages in these two books. Wonderful stuff. Students can choose between the social justice pusher or the genital mutilation sympathizer.

GCC allowed LGBTQ books for kids in the Ed. Dept. Library, Allies for Gender & Sexuality to promote in the student union & College Dems to put up posters advertising their LGBTQ panel.
As thorough documentation as can be crammed into a Tweet thread. I'm not sure if @GroveCtyCollege can be saved but the window to find out is closing swiftly.
Christian criticism can be firm, pointed, factual, and corrective. This is a good thing. The unbiblical thing is to reject it out of hand, as McNulty has. He who hates reproof is stupid (not my words, look it up).

But even if thereโs no sin involved, Christians are to sharpen one another. We can critique each otherโs decisions and behavior, and should. Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. What would that possibly mean if criticism is excluded?
