2. Mediation is part of the fabric of the Law of England, Wales & N.i. But, they have to be trained mediators & have rules.This article appears to show very narrow focus & maybe lack of equality.

@daveatherton A chap did that in a hospital waiting room. I asked him to either tutn it off or put headphones on. He turned it down slightly. He did not like it when I told him I could still hear it. Totally disrespectful to all in waiting room. He got up, huffed, but I didn't hear it again.

@daveatherton @CPSUK @RishiSunak These are hideously lenient sentences. Women are no longer protected in the UK and seen to be used and abused. Rape is a life sentence for the one raped (including male rape). Our sentencing guidelines are weak with deportation, if crime done by immigrant.

@lesl5624 @NormanBrennan I've told my children to emigrate, as I fear for them and my grandchildren. UK has become lawless. Sentencing Guidelines are pathetic. Sentencing is pathetic. Absolutely no deterrent anymore and the law abiding are easy pickings. One is even fearful of speaking out.
