@mporeilly I Married You by Walter Trobisch— somewhat dated but excellent explanation of a biblical understanding of marriage, told as a narrative about a counselor giving lectures on marriage in an African city. Easy and engaging but solid read
Had interesting interview with Jeffrey Rickman on his PlainSpoken podcast dealing with UMC and GMC Social Witness. Here's the link if you'd like to know more:

I had an enlightening time visiting with @ChappellTemple about his professional history in the UMC and now in the GMC, leading the way in the social witness of Methodists: https://t.co/Mh1MSCY4D9
@UMNS Renfroe earned his pension by faithfully serving in the UMC for 40 years. The only remaining issue is to help African and other Methodists who were prevented from disaffiliating by cynical efforts of bishops and the Judicial Council. Let those go who want to leave
@EastOhioDCM @wesleyancov There’s no conceivable way to suggest that the bishop’s actions are either “doing good” or even “doing no harm” to the people of this church. Greed, arrogance, and unbridled pride are behind this and the Lord will hold them responsible one day
@RobRenfroe1@markdtooley I agree with Rob on this. You are both a gentleman and a scholar, Mark, with an irenic spirit. I could also suggest that in his work on the Judicial Council Brother Lawrence was actually more disruptive than you
Tony Dungy, the Hall of Fame NFL coach who spoke at the March for Life rally yesterday is being attacked by left wing extremists over his pro-life Christian views. Dungy has 3 biological children and 8 adopted children. Retweet to show your support to this great man!
Not too late to sign up for Spring Classes @TruettSeminary Wesley House of Studies. We are offering these courses for Wesleyan-Methodists in Waco and Houston.
