I agree that it would take a lot of governing bodies, cooperation etc for any of this to happen. It is all pie in the sky stuff. Just coffee row discussion.

@collectsdecks @RobbFenton @CHLMemorialCup I thought Medicine Hat deserved to host. And if they get it, they may keep a couple players like Lidstrom and McKenna. I would have liked for Brandon to have got it as well, it might have kept McQueen there too. Who knows though.

@JonKeenNLSports @RobbFenton @CHLMemorialCup I am not sure what this is in reference to. I love the CHL. I went to 62 games this season. I am a season ticket holder. I spent $1000’s on the supporting the league this year. Also a big fan of your work.

@JohnSiteman @RobbFenton @CHLMemorialCup The Memorial Cup used to be a Junior A championship cup. It can be awarded to any Junior team if they want it to be. Just suggesting creative ways to esp and the tournament and drive Junior hockey eyes to the tournament. Engaging more league and markets is always good.

@JohnSiteman @RobbFenton @CHLMemorialCup I am well aware the USHL and BCHL are not CHL leagues. The BCHL would have to come back under hockey Canada . I think is just a matter of time until the USHL is apart of the CHL. I think the top BCHL team could compete with any CHL team.

@RobbFenton @CHLMemorialCup Also I am fine with the current format and having a predetermined host. The Memorial Cup is a celebration of Junior hockey. The real true prizes are the league championships.

@RobbFenton @CHLMemorialCup I would like to see three league champions, host team, USHL or BCHL champ and three three league runner ups. So eight teams in two pools. Top two of each pool advance to semifinal and two winners play in final.

@shawnmullin I was really sad when the Blades traded Kibblewhite to Lethbridge last summer. He is such a good player and even a better person. He is a great addition to a young Broncos team. He has the skills for a 30 goal season for sure.

@BCHL_Alberta I think the end result after all these changes is the elimination of the draft. Kids will be able choose where they want to play and that is a good thing at the end of the day.

@BCHL_Alberta Too bad Steinbach built there arena with only 2400 seats for hockey. Would have been awesome to have a second Manitoba team.

@BCHL_Alberta I really feel that Penticton will be a perineal powerhouse due to their experience in the BCHL in recruiting of players. Medicine Hat and Moncton both proved it worked with last off seasons signings and the success they had this past season.
