@IntNostalgia My first job in IT was setting up self build PC's with MS-DOS or DR-DOS and Windows 3.1 with it's six 3.5" floppies. Six floppies seemed like a lot at the time until I had to work through the night setting up a Novell Netware server from a giant box of 5.25 floppies

@digidweb @freebsdfndation Thanks! I've been impressed with how easy it is to get a DE up and running in FreeBSD and there is a lot of choice available. As a project I'm looking to try out Openbox WM and see if I can build it up to a useable desktop that's tailored exactly the way I'd like it to be.

@RoboNuggie @freebsdfndation Ghost BSD is great. I had a go with Nomad and helloSystem but I've run into issues installing on my laptops. I watched your video on desktop-installer which also looks pretty cool and could be an easier option for BSD newbies like me 🙂
