WHY is a single datacenter outage effecting your entire infrastructure? Why didn't you see the risk of having all that infra in a single site?

That $20 increase on my bill is going to net @astoundconnects significantly more in fines/fees from the federal government for misreporting services.

Alls they had to do was fix the IPv6 shit they broke and not raise my rates. Now I'm in "pissed off Vince" mode.

Heading into December, wondering when @astoundconnects / @WaveConnects is going to re-enable IPv6 that they disabled for the entire city back in August.

This is a multi-month outage.

@retrotink2 @RetroRGB The software gets more and more super buggy the older it gets. My assumption with THIS particular error is it isn't setting up the correct profile registers in the ASIC responsible for video decoding.

Mine had tons of audio issues, like it would just drop the center channel

The focus at the time was to restore service from a 100% total outage for some residents in my building. The IPv6 discussions happened later, but everything broke at the same time, and I'm only guessing, for the same reason.

Basically, they changed the router port provisioning to new software to make it easier to onboard new customers.

But that new software is total shit and broke a LOT of things, not just IPv6.
