@ZubyMusic Replace most prisons with self sustaining work camp/farms. Inmates get the exact same accommodations as soldier get in field camps, no more/no less. You work and you get to eat. This is how you actually reduce crime and costs at the same time. Maybe learn a skill, a welding shop.
