@BBCLookNorth in response to the comment made on students being in the same position as everyone else in the country working from home.. I’d just like to say the difference unfortunately is we are paying £9250 for it, when others working are getting paid for perhaps doing less.
It’s also directly impacting our training. We are your future teachers, doctors, nurses, and many other important professions- carrying out degrees to be there in those jobs in a few years time.
@holly_newman09 Take one step inside an ICU and see so many slowly dying, alone-maybe then it’ll become more apparent why it is so important to stop the spread and follow the rules. It’s people’s lives we are talking about.
anyone else done with seeing casual racists who throw racial slurs around (and the people who excuse this kind of racism as jokes) now thinking if they post a singular black square that it makes them appear to be anti-racism?
It’s to protect our grandparent, those who are vulnerable that unfortunately don’t have 100% health. Be grateful you have yours and do the right thing!!
Never tweet but i’m actually quite triggered by people posting pictures of them posing right next to their mates, not 2 metres away. You are allowed to see 6 other people but from a distance. There is still a deadly virus, people are still dying in hundreds daily...
A huge congratulations to everyone waking up to good news this #resultsday! We're looking forward to welcoming more #HullYorkMedic students than ever this September!
